The room and services were excellent. Excellent range of choices for breakfast - I especially liked the fresh fruit and the pastries. The location was very quiet and convenient - only 4 minutes by taxi to the centre. The hotel is 3 minutes walk to the coast where there are great views and walks.

The hotel is fantastic! The atmosfere, the facilities, the restaurant, the staff, everything. You feel you are in an oasis or jungle in the middle of the city. You stay in bungalows a bit separated from the swimmingpool area. You hear birds and are surrounded by palm trees and nice vegetation. Worth a stay in this hotel! We stayed for three nights and enjoyed every day.

I would recommend this place for anyone to stay at. The staff were exceptionally helpful especially for me as an English speaker. They went above and beyond to help me get cabs and navigate the city. The rooftop restaurant has a really nice vibe and the food is good and reasonably priced. My room was clean with great air conditioning. The room was fully enclosed, so no bugs and the hot water was great. Breakfast included with the price of the room was good with a fair amount of food options. I felt safe and wasn't concerned about my belongings when I left. They have a beautiful courtyard in the centre of the building and I woke up to the most beautiful sounds of birds singing in the trees. My only disappointment was that I couldn't stay at casa mara for my whole trip as they were fully booked. Just a note that they do not accept credit card for payment. They like to receive payment in XOF. If you have a busy work schedule, it is better to change your money at the airport before arriving to the hotel if you won't have extra time (the rates were comparable to on the street). Going to the bank to change money was time consuming!

I don’t even know where to begin! This hotel was one of, if not the best, I’ve stayed at. Definitely one of the safest. There were always security personnel stationed outside or around the hotel 24/7, and the added X-ray scan before entering made me feel even more secure. I’ve stayed at a number of hotels in Dakar, but this one really stood out. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and understanding. Their English was clear, so communication was easy and effortless. The pool was lovely, and with the fitness center right next to it, I could work out and then jump straight into the pool to unwind. The room was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked quickly to cool it down, which was a relief after a long day. The hotel is conveniently located downtown Dakar, making it easy to explore the area. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Dakar
