I recently had the pleasure of staying at Los Almendros de San Lorenzo, and it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. We even met the owners of the hotel Joaquin and Pascal and shared drinks and dinner, they were amazing, great conversations. The room itself was a sanctuary of comfort. Spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean, it felt like a home away from home. The plush bedding ensured a restful night's sleep, and the luxurious amenities including a fountain inside the room added an extra touch of indulgence. I especially appreciated the attention to detail, from the high-quality toiletries to the thoughtful turndown service. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's dining options. The on-site restaurant offered a diverse menu of delectable dishes crafted with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Each meal was a culinary delight, accompanied by impeccable service and a serene ambiance. What truly sets Los Almendros de San Lorenzo Hotel apart, however, is its exceptional service. The bed and the food

Breakfast included (although it was a little poor),nice room, Wifi working well, helpful and friendly staff (we had a problem with the shower that they fixed in the same evening), great location!

This property is wonderful. The courtyard overlooks the valley towards the lake, and no houses are visible to the sides. The owner and staff were amazing, kind, helpful and generous with their time. From this location, it is walkable to many restaurants (from inexpensive pupusarias to nice sit-down dinners) and to the downtown area. Alternatively, it was quite easy to hail a tuktuk/taxi. We were able to arrange transportation from the airport and back at a very reasonable fee . We simply loved our stay here and would highly recommend anybody seeking lodging in Suchitoto.

The staff, accommodation, location, and food were all fantastic!

One of the nicer stays we’ve had in all of Central America so far. Perfectly clean. Very comfortable bed, couch, AC worked amazing. Lots of windows. Newly painted room with Netflix and big tv when stuck in bed with food problems. Loved the outdoor space with kitchen. Amazing host and best breakfast we’ve had traveling. Treated us perfectly.

This was our second time at the property and it has been very well up-kept. Accommodations were perfect, clean, organized and the view is top notch. Highly recommend asking about the massage you can schedule with Esaú, as it is wonderful. The host Ana Maria made amazing recommendations to me and helped me set up a wonderful surprise for my partner who is now my fiancee after our stay at El Nido Flor de Pajaro.

This property seems to be your just average hostal. What I like about is that the Co-Ed dorm had curtains for privacy and the beds were comfortable compared to many beds I’ve stayed on over the years and through my travels. It’s quite loud since the door stays open and there’s a sitting area right outside and also an open area that extends all the way downstairs. I really can’t speak as to whether or not it’s conveniently located to the historic center because I arrived late and left early. Staff was nice. They have filtered water. I had no idea breakfast was included and it smelled delicious.
