The gardens with waterfalls. The room is quirky and comfortable with a huge lounge to relax on and an enormous bathroom with endless hot water ( not a wall mount heater) and a bonus large bathtub. The friendly staff were helpful supplying a hand drawn map of attractions and the breakfast was cooked fresh and comes with a fruit platter. We liked that you can make your own toast, tea and coffee.

The breakfast was excellent and very delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The room was very clean, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Although the hotel entrance is a bit far from the main road, overall it was a wonderful stay and highly recommended.

Hotel has a very cozy feel to it. Rooms are spacious with good AC and great views. Host and family were great and very accommodating. Host can be a tour guide for a day as well which was very helpful.

Right beside blue temple, the nicest staff at reception and the breakfast room. Breakfast included was a nice touch as it was a massive buffet with something for everyone. Great value for money it’s a must stay in chiang rai

Bambuh is located just a mere 10 km from the heart of Chiang...

Bambuh is located just a mere 10 km from the heart of Chiang Rai. I loved staying outside the city as Chiang Rai is a modern Thai city with a lot of traffic and 'concrete'. Obviously, there are many restaurants and nightlife but that was not what I was looking for. Bambuh was a perfect starting point for me to visit all Chiang Rai's highlights which are outside the city. A big bonus was the tranquil forest garden with bustling bird life. You just walk or cycle into the surrounding countryside, foothills, rice fields and villages.

Just a mere 10 km from the center of Chiang Rai.

Just a mere 10 km from the center of Chiang Rai. Great base to explore the highlights of Chiang Rai which are all located outside the city center. Surrounded by Thai countryside with rice-fields, villages, pineapple plantations, foothills and 2 waterfalls which you can explore by foot or bicycle. Walking distance to the famous Black House Museum (Baan Dam) and convenience stores.

What a lovely, tranquil place at the outskirts of Chiang Rai...

What a lovely, tranquil place at the outskirts of Chiang Rai city. Great forest garden bustling with birds. We stayed in one of the traditional, Thai wooden houses but you can also stay in modern style accommodation. The owners are the sweetest couple with lots of local information and assistance.n It is definitely not the downtown area of Chiang Rai but that was what we tried to avoid. Just use a (Grab) taxi and it is easy to get there if you want it.
