Nice beach, swimming pool, breakfast, stayed for lmoee than 5 nights, so got some extra services - free shuttle to Hua Hin, laundry etc... it was perfect. Reception and lobby staff well trained, perfect attitude, helped with everything, also staff at the breakfast, excellent.

Everything was absolutely great! The room was perfectly clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Manager, in particular, was incredibly kind and helpful—she assisted us with everything and even surprised us with delicious fruit and a small gift for our birthday. The sea is just a two-minute walk from the hotel. Overall, this is a wonderful place that will forever stay in my heart. Highly recommended!

Cha-Am beach is beautiful and very relaxing.

Cha-Am beach is beautiful and very relaxing. Along the main beach, you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas for only 30 Baht per chair, and you can sit for as long as you want. You can even order food directly through the chair owners. Just keep in mind that every Wednesday, there are no chairs or umbrellas allowed on the beach at all. If you prefer a bit more privacy, walk south toward the Raya Resort area. You can find chairs and umbrellas there too, but it is much less crowded than the main section. It also costs just 30 Baht per chair (including the umbrella), and you have the added convenience of being able to use the resort's toilets or order food from them. I absolutely loved this area because it is much more peaceful and allows you to completely get away from the crowds.

It was very Thai orientated as I expected and preferred.

It was very Thai orientated as I expected and preferred. It had a lovely clean beach and not too busy promenade road. Prices there were more reasonable than other tourist locations in Thailand. I loved the deck chairs on the beach setup with the fresh seafood vendors. You could find secluded and peaceful parts of the beach to relax.

Not a lot to like.

Not a lot to like. There isn't really a beach most of the time - rather a stepped sea wall. It feels a bit rough. Probably not a destination that families should put on their list of places to go to in Thailand.

Most importantly, the beach was not underwater like the beach at Hua Hin was, due to tides. The beach is pretty clean and there are plenty of reasonably priced vendors to hire a lounge chair from - and they don't harass you when you're walking past. There isn't anything architectural to look at in the town, but it has a nice atmosphere. In the evening, various street food stalls set up along the road at the beach.

Cha Am has very little services and activities so if you like a place to relax, it is great. The livelu Hua Hin is only 15-20 minutes drive away and easy to access with shuttles or taxis (cheap). Hua Hin / Cha Am are golfers’ paradises - there are many nice courses within 30 min drive.

A perfect vacation to relax on the infinity pool , take a short walk on the beaches and enjoy the evening at the Night Markets and immerse in the cultural diversity and street food. Art and culture can be felt at tihs place. Venecia is a must visit while at Cha Am or Hua Hin .

We stayed here after our original hotel turned out to be very different than advertised on this site. The Banlansuan is small but the surrounds are lovely and shady, the rooms are a good size, the bathrooms spacious and all the furniture, sheeting etc in good condition. The breakfast was generous with a reasonable selection of food. We were just across the road from the beach and close to a number of restaurants. The staff were friendly and vivacious.

The grounds are incredible, lots of areas to walk around that are kept perfectly and tastefully. This also goes for the hotel itself, a large beautiful lobby and pool area with lovely restaurants and helpful friendly staff. It has its own beach that you can see from the ocean view rooms. Our daughter loved seamlessly going between the kids pool with slide and collecting shells on the beach.

Nice suite with good facilities, shower needs updating with better shower head. There is no elevator and steep stairs to carry luggage up and down. Noisy location from the street, and the night I stayed there was booming music blaring until 4 am from the beach area. It's OK, but sorry, I would not stay again. They have parking but it is a few hundred meters from the hotel.

Style and character. Huge bedroom (signature suite) extremely comfortable. Small exquisite details and touches in the rooms not had anywhere else in Thailand e.g. rose petals for bathing! Luxury robes! We had the pleasure of talking to the owner and learning about the hotel history. Staff all lovely and attentive! Loved our stay here!!
