Location is good just few minutes drive to famous restaurants in Chanthaburi city center. By the way, this hotel might not suits visitors who travel by public transportation. Room is spacious, clean and enough amenities. Breakfast is good enough. There are Thai & ABF style. Their cafe (paid coffee) is good.

A lovely contemporary hotel. Very comfortable and well located next to, Chantaboon, the historic centre. Many restaurants and cafes in the area. The staff were all charming, friendly and helpful. Rooms are serviced daily to a high standard. Probably a bit more luxurious than I'd normally choose but for what you get the price is quite reasonable and in fact I stayed an extra night.

Many nice cafes and simple restaurants around. Pity that parts of the town look a little desolate. Something could be done to bring more life to the town. I was looking forward to getting some craft items, but didn’t see much. It’s not geared towards foreign tourism yet, maybe.

Quite a quaint town with a really nice old town area on the river. However, you wouldnt want more than a couple of days there. We struggled a bit with the lack of English and our Thai is sketchy, but people were very kind and helpful.

The visit was principally in order to visit the Gem Stone...

The visit was principally in order to visit the Gem Stone market but there are plenty more places to see. The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is well worth a visit. A number of Temples are there too.

Nice beach and very fresh cheap seafood at the pier at Chaolao beach. Nice view at Kungwimarn beach and Nangphaya Hill. Good to visit the Catholic church and walk to the Chantabun walking market to experience local lives, food and snacks.

Going through the Taksin shipyard and reviewing things there...

Going through the Taksin shipyard and reviewing things there. Has character and some past history I am sure. We ate at the resort because they order whatever you want and their family brings it in for you at anytime. Breakfast was exceptional, a mix of european and thai and fitted our family. Easy to get around; however, would try and find an easier route to get to the Meena, we did not have GPS, so we ended up inside of the town and had a long drive to the resort.

All around good hotel, excellent value for the money. Professional, competent staff. Great location, in 'Old' Chanthaburi, only a 5 minute walk from the river front restaurants and shops, only 8 minutes walk to the Catholic Cathedral in the other direction.

Located 4-6 km north of Chanthaburi town center. Small bungalows around a concrete patio. Minifridge, WiFi, bed, shower, toilet is all I needed and can park next to bungalow. This is decent budget accommodation for travelers, not for a holiday.
