I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant and stress-free experience. They arranged a shuttle to the airport as well as a pick-up from the bus station, both of which worked seamlessly. I felt truly welcomed throughout my stay. The room was impeccably clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Additionally, the hotel’s location was convenient – just a 12-minute walk to the river, with everything else you might need easily accessible along the way. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and comfort.

I spent 3 nights at Motif Eco Hotel and absolutely loved my experience. I felt so good with the hotel's vibe and the city's atmosphere that I even decided to extend my stay for an extra night! It’s an impeccably clean establishment with excellent value for money. Even before I arrived, the team was exceptional. I had some health issues and an important meeting, and they did everything to make my life easier: they assigned me a room with very stable Wi-Fi and even let me use a meeting room for free. When my phone had trouble connecting, the entire staff stepped in to help with incredible kindness. What I loved: The Staff: Whether it was the front desk, the cleaning ladies, or the night guard, everyone is exceptionally kind. I felt very safe as a solo traveler. The Room: Very comfortable bedding, a Smart TV with YouTube, and great water pressure in the shower. Towels are changed daily. The Vibe: The hotel is quiet, eco-friendly, and has lovely common areas to relax. Chanthaburi itself is full of hidden gems and cute spots to discover for those who enjoy Slow Life and peaceful rest. Location: You can reach the Waterfront in 15 minutes on foot. There’s a park nearby for walks, and it’s very easy to call a Grab. Recommendations: Thanks to the hotel’s tips, I discovered amazing cafes and restaurants to eat and work from.

We stayed one night at a hotel in Chanthaburi and it was fantastic. I’m extremely satisfied with it. The room was spacious and well-organized, with a large bathroom. The staff welcomed us warmly and the service was very friendly. I’m really happy with this hotel and highly recommend it!

I usually don't like to stay in hotels, even the best and most famous ones. But the experience at Baan Rim Ao was exceptional! We planned a trip to Chanthaburi for two days to see the local sights and visit the jewelry market and didn't book the hotel in advance. We looked at what was available on booking for a reasonable price with 4 stars. 

 The hotel is not in the town itself but in a picturesque area near farms on the bay. We checked in not in tourist season and there was another couple from China staying in the entire hotel besides us. How surprised we were when in the evening a group of musicians came to the restaurant (there was even a saxophonist) and arranged a whole concert for us alone. And when they brought us the menu, we couldn't believe that the oysters cost no more than 160 Bt. We decided to try it and it turned out to be the best oysters in our life - the freshest and tender. 

 The staff is a separate story. No one speaks enough English to communicate with the guest. This is not a chain hotel where the staff is trained to international standards. And that's a good thing. Because they do everything with heart and full dedication to their work. No even the highest standards can reproduce this family atmosphere.

 We liked everything very much, down to the smallest detail. And we have also never seen such a perfectly clean pool! The man who takes care of the pool is a god in his business.
 I think Baan Rim Ao Hotel is the crown jewel of Chanthaburi.

Little gem in this part of Thailand, I will definitely be back. Everyone was so lovely, the food was good, and the rooms were exceptional. We stayed for 4 nights and even got upgraded for the last 2 nights which was unexpected but a really lovely gesture by the owner/manager. The beach/view is beautiful, and you can even walk to the nearby creek which is a wildlife sanctuary. 100% recommend and I look forward to coming back to spend a few days relaxing by the beach :)

Hop Inn keep their high standards wherever you find one. I've stayed in this chain before and you know you will get the same. Clean, super comfortable bed. Good quality furnishings. Fridge. TV. On suite in every room. You have the option of a lift to your floor as well as stairs. Highly recommended.

Quite a quaint town with a really nice old town area on the river. However, you wouldnt want more than a couple of days there. We struggled a bit with the lack of English and our Thai is sketchy, but people were very kind and helpful.

Great beach area, relatively quiet & family friendly. Many good restaurants along the beach. More of a "locals" beach than international tourists, which is good. Nearly is the Sea World - Dolphin shows - would recommend the trip to see these. Take a drive along the coasts to visit little fishing villages & restaurants. Lots of seafood.

The visit was principally in order to visit the Gem Stone market but there are plenty more places to see. The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is well worth a visit. A number of Temples are there too.

Nice beach and very fresh cheap seafood at the pier at Chaolao beach. Nice view at Kungwimarn beach and Nangphaya Hill. Good to visit the Catholic church and walk to the Chantabun walking market to experience local lives, food and snacks.
