Central downtown Fang location next to the main market makes it convenient walking distance to restaurants, shops and the night market... clean comfortable rooms... currently being expanded so it looks a bit like a construction zone from the outside but looks fine on the inside and there was no problem with construction noise.

On our way back to Chiang Mai from Chiang Rai, this place is the best that you can hope for in Fang. And what a treat it is! Well located, on a hill, with breathtaking views. We chose to enjoy the Thai bbq and it was a treat. Way too much food for two people. The veggies were fresh from the garden and top notch! Service was always with a smile The host is incredible gracious. Ran to get me a plaster when I cut my foot and needed it for my motorcycle. Allowed me to use the hose to wash my bike after riding through road work and it got covered in tar! She didn’t say a word after I ruined one of her clothes in the process. Bed was comfortable. Sheets and comforter are high quality, not even mid grade. Bathroom was spotless and well spaced. Outlets by the bed, water, Kettle in room and breakfast was great. Coffee, tea, smoothies and food at the resto were so nice to have and delicious too. It’s quite a peaceful stay if that is what you want and are looking for. Be mindful of the road leading up to the property. I had a big bike, and it was a challenge. Experienced riders should not worry. If you’re new to riding, walk up your ride or take your time. The host can ride it up for you if need be. Don’t chance it if you are not sure.

.It is near the hot spring and national park. Such tranquility environment with beautiful garden, over looking a wide range of rice field, Seems like you are in the paridise where you are indulge in relaxation , enjoy the nature beauty. .The owner (a couple) can speak English,are kind enough to make you feel comfortable and we are treated like their family. .All rooms are spacious with different characters, comfortable and spotless clean. .we enjoyed so much their homemade breakfast,lunch and dinner. We had a wonderful 3-nights staying in Gumbie House .We enjoyed so much.
