I liked the waterfalls, djungle walk visiting the big old three there, taking a rest on the beach under a palm three, in evening watching the stars Tawan Eco bar, it's a very warm welcoming environment, to meet new people both locals and travelers, the visitors are welcome to sing, play music together, eat delicious local food, best restaurant I tried during my stay. You need to ride the bike or walk a lot to get to see all the things worth visiting on this island. buying a meal or a fruit drink less expensive if you walk a 15 minutes from more touristy areas or have a bike you're more flexible. Snorkeling was a bit overrated got seasick from the long 1.5 hour ride to Koh Rang national park, they let all the urine out from the boats into the sea not very good for mother earth. the fish is very colorful but corals bleached, that one I would have skipped and just enjoyed a good rest on the beach instead.EmelieSweden - Scored 1010

Beautiful nature, amazing beaches.
Beautiful nature, amazing beaches. But if you want to explore the island you need a scooter. Some little shops with stuff you need, but nothing special. It is a remote island without big infrastructure, so i enjoyed the feeling of a bit adventure. And as i mentioned, the nature was spectaculous. .

This is a stunning and beautiful resort in Ko Kood. It is the most lovely place I’ve ever been. The bungalow we were given is on its own little island with a fantastic view of the sea. We loved it so much we were really pleased to be able to stay longer. The staff are really kind and were always available to help with anything. It is great to swim here as the water is clear and you can see fish swimming in it. The fire show was great fun. We liked some food more than others but loved the banana pancakes. We’d definitely come again if the opportunity arose.

Ko Kood is advertised as an unspoilt island paradise, in my opinion, it is not. The arrival/departure pier is a mess, too much rubbish, not the welcome sight I was expecting. The 20-30 minute drive from the pier to the resort let us see a good part of the island. Most buildings, restaurants, hostels looked ‘tired’ - perhaps this is a post-pandemic situation. You have to be comfortable riding a scooter (and have insurance as the roads are quite steep and windy) to explore the island. I only ate at the Koh Kood Resort, which I found was not value for money, the portion sizes were small. The beach was safe and the water clear, I was expecting more fish. The resort’s facilities were adequate but I was expecting better. As an older, disabled person, I would not recommend the resort or island as a suitable place to visit. I would not visit Koh Kood again. For me, Koph Chang is a better option as you can take your car on the island.sinwardsozThailand - Scored 1010

Wonderful, had whole beaches to ourselves, friendly people a world away from Bangkok. Easy to get about on a scooter even for first timers. Bring sturdy shoes for waterfalls though. Great snorkeling locations too

The location is simply amazing, one of the nicest beach on the island, the hotel is beautiful, well organized and probably one of the best we have seen so far. We want to warmly thank the staff for their support, friendliness and possibly long lasting friendship: - Dear - Nat - Chalee - Shalam - Mek - Fern - Pen - Kong and all the remaining staff and management we do not recall the names. The owner is simply the most friendly, happy and helpful hoster that I have met during my trip in Thailand. The place is just couple of kms away from two beautiful beaches. You can rent a motorbike directly at the place, Kiu will make it very easy for you. Also the recommendations he made for restaurant and couple other places were just the right choice! There is a convenient shop just 2 mins walk from the place.

Staff made a warm welcome with welcoming glass of juice. Our bungalow was located in a second line to the beach! Good breakfast, could be improved with more choices to eat but for us was enough as we were travelling around the island during the day and eating in local restaurants. You can rent a motorbike here as well. Hotel also can organise for you a snorkeling trip!UrbanPoland
