Situated in Kradan Island in the Trang Province Region, 37 km from Ko Lanta, Coral Garden Resort features a terrace restaurant and a private beach area. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. The property was really gorgeous an outstanding location secluded to one end of the resorts on the island which was very nice. The staff did a wonderful job of keeping the grounds cleaned from of any debris that may have washed ashore or fallen from any trees. I rated the value good and it is for the island everything is just a little more expensive there than on the main land but the restaurant was wonderful for every meal. They made many different home made breads that you would get with breakfast that were great, all the food we ate there was great but the bread for some reason just stood out for me. The staff was very helpful and attentive in everything that we needed. All in all it was a great stay in paradise at coral garden resort for three nights.
Koh Libong is a friendly little island with a number of home stays and hotels. I did an excursion as I wanted to see the dugoons (sea cows) and actually got to spot three. I would recommend to stay 2 days.
The island has not been spoilt by tourism yet. People living and working here, and this is not a place to go if you want to party. If you want somewhere quiet and laid back, then this is the perfect island to chill and watch the sunset.
Very quiet island with jungle, monkeys, tons of birds and giant lizards. Not the best but still good spot for snorkeling with corals and clourful fishes. Good food in the village - but not in the resorts.
There is very little to do for night entertainment, a couple of local family run restaurants and a bar at an other hotel was ample. Get a motorbike, see the island and meet the locals. Would go again.
The food at restaurant was the best. The sea water was clean and clear. The sunset was spectacular. After the sea subsided, collecting clams and mussles to cook as an extra dish for dinner was a great experience.
The island has only around a dozen places to stay. Each is fairly low key. There are just a few small villages scattered around the island with a narrow paved road linking them. The west coast has 3 sandy bays with the jungle running right down to the beach. While the island has clearly benefited from tourism, it remains refreshingly unspoilt and the people are very welcoming. There are some very simple places to eat outside the hotels but otherwise there are few distractions. It’s a great place to relax.
Excellent food in the restaurant, very fresh seafood. Decent prices, big portions. Relaxed vibe.
