Set in Ko Mook and with Hua Laem Prao Beach reachable within 200 metres, MOOK BOONCHU HOTEL offers express check-in and check-out, allergy-free rooms, a restaurant, free WiFi and free bikes. Koh Muk had become our favourite island on the Andaman coast. It’s authentic but you also find touristy places here and deserted beaches as well. Dew really made our stay comfortable here. Such a nice guy, works hard, takes you to places on the island with his tuk tuk, he’s always available and kind to everyone. We would come back anytime!
Rinna Resort has a restaurant, free bikes, a bar and garden in Ko Mook. Each accommodation at the 4-star hotel has garden views and free WiFi. Breakfast and service was lovely. Very nice view. Quiet and secluded but only a 10-15 minute walk to the center of Mook. Laundry service was nice and fairly priced :)
A 5-minute walk from Charlie Beach, one of the nicest beach in Ko Mook, Nature Hill offers a good spot of nature and relaxing atmosphere. It is surrounded by the lush hills. Free WiFi is available. Beautiful local food , warmth welcome from small family business lovely bungalow
Koh Mook Sivalai beach resort is situated on Koh Mook Island and has direct access to Hao-Laem Beach. It offers an outdoor pool with sea views, Thai-style villas and a restaurant. Awesome place, comfortable room (#215). Great view, right on the beach. Big place, lots of walking but a good way to burn off the buffet breakfast, which was delicious. Friendly staff, great beach and beach chairs. Nothing bad with this place.
Mook Montra ResortSeaFront is located at Mook Island, 250 metres from Mook Sivalai beach resort. With a garden, the property also features a restaurant. Koh Mook is incredible in many ways, local friendly, ecological friendly, very safe. Koh Mook has its charm with several good, inexpensive restaurants, nice beaches like Charlie beach. Emerald cave is a must that you need to swim inside. In terms of accomodations, Mook Montra resort spoiled us. My wife did not want to leave. This place has very good cozy environment, good staffs, super friendly owners. It just perfect. For all many resorts that we went for this trip, we indeed have best best sleep here, so comfortable, so relax. This is top, Highly recommended. Thanks guys, see you again.
Situated in Ko Mook and nestled in nature, Mookies bungalow offers cosy tents and bungalows. The property is just a 5-minute walk from the beach. Great location on the oust side of the island. We stayed in a hard bungalow (not bamboo ones) and it was absolutely perfect. Great care is had to maintain the room. Very clean, comfortable mattress, fan. In the jungle 300m from the beach. Nice breakfast included in price of the room. The owner is really nice and helpful, she goes out of her way to make your stay confortable.
Situated 400 metres from Hua Laem Prao Beach, The Tropical Koh Mook offers a private beach area, and accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. The bungalows were renovated in 2021 and are beautiful, the tropical garden was spectacular for shutting photos and breakfast delicious, fruit, eggs, salad, curry... The couple who run the resort were very kind and helpful and we can totally recommend this place.
Set in Ko Mook, 450 metres from Hua Laem Prao Beach, Inhale @ Hill offers accommodation with a bar, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Free WiFi and room service are featured. Lovely little hideaway in lush garden right on the water. The rooms were super comfortable and nicely decorated with such attention to detail, and our hosts were so kind and helpful. Hope to be back soon!
Wonderful little island with plenty to do. It has a great local town centre so you are not restricted to eating at your accommodation. City Centre restaurant was our favourite! All the restaurant and shop workers are wonderful, great sense of humour and very helpful. The sunsets at Charlie beach are beautiful. Kayaking and trekking in the jungle is a must do.
There is nothing wrong with the accommodation, everything was in perfect order. The staff took care of us above standard and went out of their way to accommodate us. I can only recommend beautiful accommodation ..
Unspoilt, genuinely welcoming visitors Must be prepared to hire scooters or use taxis to get round all the island. The emerald cave lives up to its reputation but get taken there when the your boats are not around. You can take a variety of boat trips to other nearby islands too
The island is underdeveloped which has its own charm. Becames more rural the father one moves from the pier and town center. Great place for peace and quite. Looking for Sabai beach ended in needing medical attention as the path is totally overgrown and poorly marked.
Ko Mook is small friendly island which still has a lot of working fishing boats so the seafood is always fresh. It has been somewhat left behind in the surge of Thai tourism, so it is still very traditional - there are no cars and the road only really suitable for motorbike. There is no 7-11 which is amazing for Thailand! and only 2 ATM's. This is the sort of place that made Thailand famous as a place for travelers.
Ko Mook has the advantage compared to other islands that one can move around and even rent a bicycle. Koh Mook is very dirty though and needs a lot of cleaning, it would make the entire island a better tourist destination.
I would highly recommend. A delight and helpful owners - not things that they can not handle. hotel clean, cleaned every day, change of towels every day, great air conditioning, dryer, daily bottles of drinking water, bicycles and scooters for guests available, on site possibility of using the laundry room, one minute to the beach, one minute to nearby bars and resturants. Breakfast - Thai or English breakfast. I would highly recommend. We felt there very comfortably and very well looked after
The location of Sivalai on Koh Muk is absolutely breathtaking. At the very tip of the island with a beautiful stretch of white beach. Highly recommend to take a 1st row beach bungalow. You basically have your own piece of beach and are literally not more than 10m away from the ocean when lying in bed. This place is magic! Staff is super friendly and the food is delicious, couldn’t ask for more. Thanks for having us!
We had a wonderful stay at the bungalow. Wonderful staf!! Very delicious food. Great location, only 3 minute walk to the most beautiful beach (keep in mind your a little removed from town/shops, 30 min walk or 50 bath a person with taxi, there are some other options for food close by). Ko muk in general is such a wonderful island. Clean rooms, comfortable bed.
I got a cute bamboo bungalow with a sea view, which was especially nice at sunrise. The hotel was away from the road, so it was quiet at night. At the same time, the pier was very close, as was a beautiful white-sand beach, and there were tons of restaurants nearby. The bungalows and the territory around them looked new and well-kept.
Yai was the best host I ever had on any holiday very kind and friendly extremely helpful, picks you up from the pier and dropped us off even took us for a site seeing the tent was so much fun! Just one tip for visitors is to take some mosquito ointment. The bathroom is clean the experience was unforgettable.
Breakfast was fantastic, the hosts were awesome and super friendly. The rooms were modern and well appointed and it was easy getting everywhere on the island via boat or tuk tuk. This was a brilliant resort in many ways, and if it had been by a beach would have been perfect.
Nice bungalow with seats outside. Free coffee. Free bicycle was offered to cycle to the beach, but best is to walk to a secluded beach Ao Lo Dang, and / or hike to Sabai beach and spot monkeys along the way.
Amazing food, very convenient walk to the most beautiful beach on the island, and very helpful staff. The experience at this hotel was exactly what we were looking for.
Very close to the local street food points, bungalow very clean, good WiFi connection. Resort is supplied with bicycles which you can rent for free.
Kawan the host makes all the difference she is just great . Hotel is really good with nice view and you can borrow bikes. Overall perfect
Best place on Ko Mook! Nice people, nice food, nice and clean rooms. Coming back every 2 years. Warmest regards, Nick and Sayonara
Wonderful staff . Looks like family run hotel . Very attentive to the needs of their customers
