Mook Ing Lay is located in Ko Mook and features a terrace. Featuring a garden, the 3-star resort has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. It is a wonderful place to stay. The rich garden makes you feel in paradise and the staff is very very friendly. Everything is super clean and the bed is very comfortable. We loved to be there - highly recommended!
Cashew Nut Bungalow, Ko Mook is located 984 feet from Ko Mook Pier and 656 feet from the Center Point. The guest house has a barbecue and views of the mountain, and guests can enjoy a drink at the... Yai was an incredible host, connecting you with the best the island had to offer and always with a warm smile. The residents of Koh Mook are very kind and welcoming. The island had everything: great food, good beaches, hiking trails, and unique snorkeling and cave trips.
A short walk from a peaceful beach, Mook Lamai Resort and Spa offers an outdoor pool and a restaurant. Free WiFi access is available in this resort's public areas. Of the hundreds of accommodations I have stayed at in over 30 countries, Mook Lamai is in my top 10. The staff is incredibly helpful, friendly and sincere. The property is beautiful, the facilities spotlessly clean and the location is ideal. We did not want to leave and i highly, highly recommend staying at Mook Lamai!
Koh Mook Sivalai beach resort is situated on Koh Mook Island and has direct access to Hao-Laem Beach. It offers an outdoor pool with sea views, Thai-style villas and a restaurant. Staff was super friendly and helpful. They were on top of it. Super quiet and relaxed. We made two separate bookings because t we booked late and the resort was mostly full when it came time to switch rooms they had our room ready before we even had to check out of the first room. The resort was just very chill. The island is quiet. Not like many other island in Thailand. Was very happy.
Mook Montra ResortSeaFront is located at Mook Island. With a garden, the property also features a restaurant. Free WiFi and a 24-hour front desk are available. Best choice to escape from the city This reasonably priced hideaway combines nature and comfort. It is well-equipped with natural decor and all fundamental facilities. The room was nice and clean. There was an outdoor water tap to get sand off your feet before getting in the room. This is so caring :-) A view of the sea from the balcony was wonderful especially in the morning! Most friendly receptionists ever! They all were willing to guide me and my family throughout our stay. I can say that they are real professional local staff. That they are real....The local community around the place seemed nice and safe to visitors too. My overall experience here was so awesome! My little niece really enjoyed her first time at Koh Mook. Thanks to Mook Montra team.
Located on the beachfront in Ko Mook and featuring a shared lounge, Seaside home has free WiFi. The owner was extremely friendly and welcoming. We loved being on the “local” side of the island instead of Charlie beach. It made for a more authentic experience. Also there was a restaurant with fantastic curry right next door and Sivalai Beach was the best we found on the island. Can’t beat the location for access to pier and restaurants either: 5 min walk.
Koh Mook Hostel is offering accommodations in Ko Mook. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a shared kitchen and ticket service, along with free WiFi. Second time staying here was just as great as the first! The owner really cares about each person who stays and is so kind and helpful! Perfect location and really comfortable, clean and spacious bed with great wifi and ac! Love it here!
The island is a place where locals live and work and know each other. It's real and there is a vibrant atmosphere. There is also poverty and a lack of organization to deal with garbage. There are 3 beaches, one of them, Charlie's beach the main one. The others only accessible with boat or strenuous but really super beautiful hike through jungle land. Charlie's beach is very nice and with bars, restaurants and everything one would need. Maybe too many boats with exhaust. In town there are good places to eat and drink. My favorite was the Perfect bar and Restaurant on one of the not so swimmable beaches but view, food, drinks and owner and co great. Sugar is the second best. There's also a bakery, but they are slow and not too friendly. The bike tuk tuks are great and very affordable with everywhere costing 50 Baht. You can also visit other islands around Ko Muk or travel to Phuket and Ko Lanta. People in general are very friendly and I felt not quite at home, but in good company.
Great location, only a 5 minute walk to Charlie Beach. The hotel is very basic. Yes, a bucket flush. The room was comfortable enough the breakfast was okay. The staff was kind. We had to switch rooms because our bathroom door was broken, as well as the shower head. They couldn’t find our reservation upon arrival and we had to ask for the rooms to be converted into twin beds. It was a very unorganized, but that’s Thailand. It really felt more like camping than at a resort. This is a descent place to stay if you are looking to “ball on a budget”. The beach nearby is beautiful with a great restaurant. Koh mook is a quiet and peaceful island with very little night life and more geared towards families and relaxing. I loved it.
Ko Mook is a great alternative to a true resort island like Koh Lanta or Koh Lipe. Very laid back, minimal tourism facilities, with inexpensive eating options and a couple of small white sand beaches.
Amazing, affordable food. Welcoming locals. Beautiful clean swimming beaches. Snorkeling. Cave adventures. Hiking. Miss Island is the go-to place for breakfast and freshly baked goods. Seaview restaurant had very cheap and tasty combo meals. Most (95%) of the locals are Muslim, so there are halal options galore beyond seafood. Because it's the default for many, just ask the very friendly staff.
FYI Charlie beach is not what it used to be. The Charlie Beach Resort is abandoned and in the process of being torn down. The beach is a bit of a mess behind the trees (abandoned buildings and some trash). Aside from a few locals selling drinks out of coolers and one bar on the far side of the beach it's very quiet. The beach itself is beautiful and calm for swimming. The sand area is kept very clean by the locals. There is plenty of shade in the trees, and a few beach chairs and umbrellas adjacent to those selling drinks on the beach. In November it is very quiet in Koh Muk, many resorts not opened or seemingly abandoned. Few restaurants, but still some good places to eat and drink. There is no ATM but at a supermarket in the village you can apparently use your credit card to get cash from the owner. Can walk the whole island in about 1/2 an hour or take one of the many motorbike taxis (50baht/person), or rent a motorbike for 250baht/day. Bicycles are also available to rent. Kayao is the bar open on the far side of Charlie beach and has a not great restaurant that has great views of the beach. The bar is good and has nice smoothies. Mayow restaurant has excellent food and friendly staff and is a very short walk from Charlie beach. Ting tong bar was the busiest place after dinner and had a great fire show if you happen to be there on the right night. Trip to the emerald cave and snorkeling in koh kradan was a nice day trip on a long boat. Beautiful quiet island, with just enough happening to keep you from getting bored or hungry. The locals say things get busier after November so perhaps it will be more lively then. If you are looking for a party this probably isn't your island, but if you are looking to relax in paradise it's a great choice.
I stayed 2 nights at the main beach around Sivalai Beach and moved to Farang beach 1 night (Charlie beach). That was the best thing that i decided. Farang beach was quiet, turquoise sea and perfect sunset. It’s amazing!

I loved everything about this place, the bungalow itself is so comfy and we spent so much time just on our deck enjoying the jungle. The owners are very nice and made us feel like friends. There are a bunch of other small restaurants nearby to walk to, and of course Charlie beach (best beach on island) is a quick walk away. Definitely book this place, you won’t regret it! (In fact we are now at a more “upscale” resort on a nearby island and talking about hanging out plans just to go back to Mountain View!

Clean, in a garden by the pier. On the right of the 3 bungalows, abt 5 min walking, there is a very beautiful beach with white sand. Bathroom was clean, room in big enough. We asked for change of towels and there was no issue. I think the bungalows are quite new. Booked the trip to Krabi with them and there were no problems. Good value for money!! Close to the main center and restaurants but then again, Ko Mook is small and you can walk or rent motorbike/bike for getting around.

The property has a unique feel with the shade of old cashew trees. The smell of the fruit permeates the area, the fruits are delicious and Yai will fry some of the nuts up for you on request. Yai is also a great host and will show you all of the best spots on the island, places to eat, hidden viewpoints and more... highly recommended. Please keep in mind that the setting is very rustic, even in a bamboo bungalow this is closer to camping than a luxury resort.

This is our second time to Mook Montra. The place has been much much beautifully developed. This time we stayed in a white beautiful tent, fully equipped with air cond, hot water, personal bathroom. It has special designed, open see-through rooftop. Most of all, can tell that the property has been very well managed, super clean, friendly atmosphere. We are truly satisfied with Mook Montra Resort.

One of the cheaper bungalows on the island (although much more expensive than other places is Thailand). Great location, only 5 min walk to charlie beach. Spacious bungalow with a big bathroom and little porch to chill on (in the shade most of the time). Restaurant was oke, not the best but nice place to sit. Friendly staff that asked every if we wanted our room to be cleaned!

Lovely home stay and very comfortable room with hot shower. The location is probably the best on the Island very near to shops, bars and restaurants and Charlie beach is about 30 minute walk or can cycle there. A lovely young couple run the place and will help with anything you need. Highly recommended.

It is great that you can rent bicycles and kayaks directly at the hotel. Beach mats, beach towels, slippers and umbrellas were provided. The bungalow is very clean and modern. Breakfast and also dinner were very delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful, even if they do not speak English well.

It was like coming home. Everything was very clean and and you felt welcome all the time. There was beer and soft drinks in the fridge that you could buy. Free coffee at the "lobby". It didn't feel like a hotel or guesthouse...it felt like home.

Well designed, clean and comfortable bamboo bungalows. Beautiful location in the jungle and right next to the water. The most friendly and helpful staff. Great restaurant and the best bar next door. We absolutely LOVED our stay at Coco lodge!

Nice normal hostel with clean and comfy beds, with nice included breakfast in the restaurant in front of it. Spacious cold shower but you can't ask for more.

The view from the resort is really good. The swimming pool is big and clean so we enjoyed it. This resort can be so much better if they just maintain it well.
