Located on the seafront of Koh Mook Island, Pawapi offers newly upgrade villas and bungalows in a traditional Thai style. The beachfront villas are a clean lined modern design with fabulous views of the white sand beach and the turquoise water from the front porch. At high tide the waves come right up to the porch. We ate breakfast and dinner and the food was really great. Get the pancakes for breakfast. Everything we had for dinner was fabulous, although only beer was really offered. The cocktails were terrible as there really isn't a serviced bar.
A 5-minute walk from Charlie Beach, one of the nicest beach in Ko Mook, Nature Hill offers a good spot of nature and relaxing atmosphere. It is surrounded by the lush hills. Free WiFi is available. Neil and Su are super kindly people. We arrived and as soon as we met them they offered to change our room (bamboo bungalow) by another one much more comfortable just because they were under construction over the surrounding area. Obvious it is not something regular but they did for our comfort during the stay. To arrive at the property is quite far if you walk as we did but obvious you can take a tuk tuk. The good deal it is you are only at 250 MTS from one of the best beaches in Muk. Top 1 of our 13 places were we stay in Thailand. Thanks Neil and Su you did great!
A short walk from a peaceful beach, Mook Lamai Resort and Spa offers an outdoor pool and a restaurant. Free WiFi access is available in this resort's public areas. The room with pool access is amazing, so in love with this place.
Located in Ko Mook in the Trang Province region, Mumsai House features a balcony. Offering free WiFi, the property also has a garden and a terrace. The room was very clean and the staff was very kind. It was near restaurants and travel agencies. It takes about 10 minutes to the busy street so it is quiet at night.
Mook Montra ResortSeaFront is located at Mook Island. With a garden, the property also features a restaurant. Free WiFi and a 24-hour front desk are available. It’s very chill and not too fancy. The tent is right on the beach
Mook Ing Lay is located in Ko Mook and has a garden and a terrace. The 3-star resort has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free WiFi. It is a wonderful place to stay. The rich garden makes you feel in paradise and the staff is very very friendly. Everything is super clean and the bed is very comfortable. We loved to be there - highly recommended!
Located in Trang, Koh Mook Rem Ley is 30 miles from Trang Clock Tower. Guests can use a terrace. All rooms include a private bathroom with a shower, while some have sea views.
Located in Kohmook, 30 mi from Trang Clock Tower, Mayow Bungalow Kohmook features a restaurant. Complimentary WiFi is featured. Property was the closest you could stay to Farang (Charley) Beach. Thai kitchen restaurant on site. Very jungle- like. Ac worked very well and was cold.
Located in Kradan Island in the Trang Province Region, 23 mi from Ko Lanta, Coral Garden Resort features a terrace restaurant and a private beach area. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. The staff were very friendly and accommodating in allowing us to stay at the resort until our boat ride back. They were able to set up day trips and offered to set up up transit back to Trang airport. The beach was beautiful!!! The resort itself was the perfect place to stay for a couple of US vacationers. Also, best drink prices on the island.
Offering a sandy beach area and water sport facilities, Kalume Kradan Village also features a restaurant, a relaxing massage service and a luscious tropical garden. Super Mario the Owner somehow manage to always pull the rabbit out of his hat :-)
Great location, only a 5 minute walk to Charlie Beach. The hotel is very basic. Yes, a bucket flush. The room was comfortable enough the breakfast was okay. The staff was kind. We had to switch rooms because our bathroom door was broken, as well as the shower head. They couldn’t find our reservation upon arrival and we had to ask for the rooms to be converted into twin beds. It was a very unorganized, but that’s Thailand. It really felt more like camping than at a resort. This is a descent place to stay if you are looking to “ball on a budget”. The beach nearby is beautiful with a great restaurant. Koh mook is a quiet and peaceful island with very little night life and more geared towards families and relaxing. I loved it.
Ko Mook is a great alternative to a true resort island like Koh Lanta or Koh Lipe. Very laid back, minimal tourism facilities, with inexpensive eating options and a couple of small white sand beaches.
Amazing, affordable food. Welcoming locals. Beautiful clean swimming beaches. Snorkeling. Cave adventures. Hiking. Miss Island is the go-to place for breakfast and freshly baked goods. Seaview restaurant had very cheap and tasty combo meals. Most (95%) of the locals are Muslim, so there are halal options galore beyond seafood. Because it's the default for many, just ask the very friendly staff.
FYI Charlie beach is not what it used to be. The Charlie Beach Resort is abandoned and in the process of being torn down. The beach is a bit of a mess behind the trees (abandoned buildings and some trash). Aside from a few locals selling drinks out of coolers and one bar on the far side of the beach it's very quiet. The beach itself is beautiful and calm for swimming. The sand area is kept very clean by the locals. There is plenty of shade in the trees, and a few beach chairs and umbrellas adjacent to those selling drinks on the beach. In November it is very quiet in Koh Muk, many resorts not opened or seemingly abandoned. Few restaurants, but still some good places to eat and drink. There is no ATM but at a supermarket in the village you can apparently use your credit card to get cash from the owner. Can walk the whole island in about 1/2 an hour or take one of the many motorbike taxis (50baht/person), or rent a motorbike for 250baht/day. Bicycles are also available to rent. Kayao is the bar open on the far side of Charlie beach and has a not great restaurant that has great views of the beach. The bar is good and has nice smoothies. Mayow restaurant has excellent food and friendly staff and is a very short walk from Charlie beach. Ting tong bar was the busiest place after dinner and had a great fire show if you happen to be there on the right night. Trip to the emerald cave and snorkeling in koh kradan was a nice day trip on a long boat. Beautiful quiet island, with just enough happening to keep you from getting bored or hungry. The locals say things get busier after November so perhaps it will be more lively then. If you are looking for a party this probably isn't your island, but if you are looking to relax in paradise it's a great choice.
I stayed 2 nights at the main beach around Sivalai Beach and moved to Farang beach 1 night (Charlie beach). That was the best thing that i decided. Farang beach was quiet, turquoise sea and perfect sunset. It’s amazing!
Ko Mook is a small island and a couple of days is enough if you’re into action and activities. Ko Mook is perfect for taking it easy and relaxing on the beach. We stayed in a very reasonably priced, simple bungalow on the Charlie beach and had a lovely, peaceful time there. There’s a nice restaurant with a perfect sunset view in both ends of the Charlie beach. There are more options on the other side of the island and it’s cheap to go around with tuk tuk or rent a motorbike. You can go kayaking and take boat trips to other islands.

I loved everything about this place, the bungalow itself is so comfy and we spent so much time just on our deck enjoying the jungle. The owners are very nice and made us feel like friends. There are a bunch of other small restaurants nearby to walk to, and of course Charlie beach (best beach on island) is a quick walk away. Definitely book this place, you won’t regret it! (In fact we are now at a more “upscale” resort on a nearby island and talking about hanging out plans just to go back to Mountain View!

Lovely traditional small bamboo huts that are clean and comfortable for a great price. Absolutely tastey food in the restaurant. The family that run Bamboo huts are absolutely wonderful, kind, caring people. We had such a great 8 days staying there and we were so very sad to say goodbye when it was time for us to leave koh muk. Some accomodation and restaurants on koh muk near charlie beach were a bit too expensive for us so we were so happy to find bamboo huts as they were perfect for our budget.

Clean, in a garden by the pier. On the right of the 3 bungalows, abt 5 min walking, there is a very beautiful beach with white sand. Bathroom was clean, room in big enough. We asked for change of towels and there was no issue. I think the bungalows are quite new. Booked the trip to Krabi with them and there were no problems. Good value for money!! Close to the main center and restaurants but then again, Ko Mook is small and you can walk or rent motorbike/bike for getting around.

One of the cheaper bungalows on the island (although much more expensive than other places is Thailand). Great location, only 5 min walk to charlie beach. Spacious bungalow with a big bathroom and little porch to chill on (in the shade most of the time). Restaurant was oke, not the best but nice place to sit. Friendly staff that asked every if we wanted our room to be cleaned!

It is great that you can rent bicycles and kayaks directly at the hotel. Beach mats, beach towels, slippers and umbrellas were provided. The bungalow is very clean and modern. Breakfast and also dinner were very delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful, even if they do not speak English well.

Well designed, clean and comfortable bamboo bungalows. Beautiful location in the jungle and right next to the water. The most friendly and helpful staff. Great restaurant and the best bar next door. We absolutely LOVED our stay at Coco lodge!

The hostel is perfect. The rooms are clean and quite. The hosts are sooooo helpful, including free taxi service, the breakfast is by far the best we had in Thailand and the bakery has such great bread, it's like being home ;)

Great rooms, attentive service, fantastic massage, thoughtful gifts that arrived every day. We arranged two trips via the resort and they were both excellent and seamlessly delivered.

The view from the resort is really good. The swimming pool is big and clean so we enjoyed it. This resort can be so much better if they just maintain it well.

The staff were amazing! Super friendly and always ready to help! They cleaned our room twice a day which we could not believe! There were also free bikes provided to easily get around the island which was very handy. The property is in a great location with amazing restaurants (Hilltop especially!) in close walking distance or even closer with the bikes. We really enjoyed Koh Mook and our stay here and would come back again for sure!

Staff was friendly but they English was very poor :( we hardly communicated. During breakfast we asked for some water because we got concentrate juice, which was impossible to drink because if it's sweetness, and we didn't receive it because they noded and probably didn't understand us :(

Yai was an incredible host, connecting you with the best the island had to offer and always with a warm smile. The residents of Koh Mook are very kind and welcoming. The island had everything: great food, good beaches, hiking trails, and unique snorkeling and cave trips.
