Koh Ngai Resort is located within the Trang Archipelago and overlooks the beautiful Andaman Sea. This peaceful tropical getaway presents an outdoor pool and scenic views of the natural landscapes. The breakfast was good but the variety was on a two day rotation so got a bit boring. The beach was great and surprisingly clean. Hornbills visited the resort every morning and afternoon. The staff were very friendly. Free kayak and snorkelling gear for use.

Ko Ngai
Enjoying a beachfront location on the beautiful and tranquil Ko Ngai Beach, Thapwarin Resort features spectacular ocean views and water sports. Internet is free in public areas. Nicest property on the island since COVID-19. Some of the other nice resorts are either undergoing renovation or just dead. The rooms are clean and nice, they offer sarongs for the beach, the view is incredible, the staff is the loveliest, and the food is just amazing. Since the pandemic, they no longer offer Italian food, it is just Thai, but it’s extraordinary (and this is coming from someone who is not a fan of Thai food).

The location was excellent. I love the concept on campground but needs more work. Their food restaurant was alright what we did try. And big bonus you get free small water bottle per person per day.

Ko Mook (Near Ko Ngai)
Located in Ko Mook, an 8-minute walk from Hua Laem Prao Beach, Kohmook Nurse House provides accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking, a bar and a shared lounge. This family run place is so friendly and relaxing, we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, with very good air conditioning. The food at the restaurant is some of the best we have had, especially as the ingredients are grown in the garden in-front of the rooms.
Ko N'gai is small and extremely quiet. Perfect to get away from everything. Jungle and sea is some of the best I have seen after 30 years visiting Thailand. Simply beautiful. Thapwarin is the better of all the resorts, but the restaurant needs to be vastly improved.
Ideal for families and couples wanting a quiet beach holiday. It would not suit youngsters looking for nightlife. Good for snorkeling and diving . There were no roads or clear paths for a walk to explore the island. You could walk along the beach and eat in other resorts. Also, a few bars/restaurants.
Beautiful small peaceful island . Stunning views , incredible water . There is a little trail to get over to the other side of the island which is fun to do . Snorkelling and kayaking were great activities. Also must have a beach side massage
Idyllic unspoilt Island with beautiful, clean beaches. Although you have to walk to it Paradise beach lived up to its name. The island was easy to get to and from by boat from Phuket or Trang. The weather was consistently warm and sunny although it became a little windier from an onshore breeze towards the end of our stay in late Jan/early Feb 2020. Not sure if this is normal but it did make a difference to the tranquility of the main beach so worth checking. Good choice of restaurants and we enjoyed our resort.
Arriving to Koh Ngai, the first thing you notice is the crystal clear waters and long sandy beach. This is a laid back destination. The island is small and perfect for a quick break away to balance the mind. Mornings are busy with the comings and goings of sports boats and longtails dropping off visitors / snorkellers but if you close your eyes you won't even notice. There's a good choice of beach bars and restaurants along the beach. Bring your snorkel and take a long boat to the neighboring islands.
Wonderful Island, totally different than Krabi or even Ko Phi Phi Don. Island attracts by its calm, close with nature almost untouched by human hands. You can find there a lot of amusements like a kayaking, diving, snorkeling, walk through the jungle or rent a private's boat. There's some places worth visiting: Kuan Tong Bay, Kuan Tong Rock (you van see the Rock from boat, port or view point), National Park, View point (two side). During the way to view point you will see some kind of coconut field, Kuan Tong Bay, further walking along the beach of Koh Ngai Paradise Beach Resort to National Park you reach first smal wild beach (I couldn't find the name) with sand and pink/violete rocks. At the other side is another beach but its look like a garbage dump (I suspect from sea). Then last etap to get the view point is climbing up (don't worry there is a rope) and enjoy the beautiful views. If someone needs more detailsnjust write me. ENJOY YOUR STAY!!!!
Ko Ngai
This is the loveliest little resort. Perfect for just chilling and you practically live between the sea and the jungle. The food is excellent here - everything that comes out of the kitchen is top quality. Amy, Natalie and Fang at the restaurant are always smiling, joking and willing to help. The best service you can possibly imagine.
Ko Ngai
I love the location. It was very nice. The beach in front of the resort is kind of private. I watched beautiful sunrise in the morning from my room. All the staff are also very nice and helpful. Very good customer service. I had a great time there.
Ko Ngai
Beautiful location and lovely resort. The staff went above and beyond and were the friendliest staff we’ve possibly ever had in a resort anywhere in the world (and we travel A LOT). The rooms were nice enough, but nothing fancy.
Ko Ngai
Beautiful located at the beach with a view that isn’t matched by any other hotels. Kind staff en breakfast is good too. Recommended if you are looking for a place with sea view. Bed and bathroom are more than good enough.
Ko Ngai
Beautiful beach and the resort is very cute with relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay, however it was more expensive than it should be.

Overall the island is very beautiful and quiet. Nice resort and good breakfast.
Ko Ngai
It's a beautiful hotel set in what can only be described as paradise.
