A 5-minute walk from Pai Walking Street, Lilu Pai is housed in a wooden structure. Providing free Wi-Fi throughout the property, it features a library and a tour desk. We had a great stay at Lilu Pai! The property is well located with everything in walking distance but back from the bars which could be noisy. Parking for our bike was simple and under cover. The room was clean and the fan was enough most of the time. The lady at the desk cooked us eggs in the morning which we had with fresh fruit and filter coffee. This location, with en suite AC room and breakfast included at this price is a 10/10 for us. Thank you 🙏🏼

บ้านระเบียงปาย - Baan rabiang pai, Aether Pai Villa, and Ai Pai Hotel got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Pai.
We came during burning season which I think really impacted our time there. We couldn’t see the blue skies or the mountains that surround Pai. Personally for us after doing the waterfalls and Grand Canyon there isn’t much to do during the day. However, we discovered Pai river and it’s a cool chill out spot. We love nature and were expecting Pai to be more green. At night the waking street is cool, it’s lively but peaceful at the same time. Nongbeer restaurant was amazing, we got beef Khao soi there every day and sometimes twice a day. Pai has great coffee spots. If going to Pai I recommend staying in the town to make it easier to get around. Lots of westerners have moved there so lots of western influence popping up. We were meant to stay for two weeks but left after 4 days as the haze was too bad for us, we personally prefer Chiang Mai over Pai.
I loved Pai, it has a great vibe, the night market, the range of lovely food, the day trips that were available. The Lod caves was a remarkable day tour, and the Red Orchid cooking school was really enjoyable.
The town is a Mecca for self-styled hippie-emulating millennials. We're active older people, so we were in a minority. Not so many Americans, but lots of people from everywhere else. The Lod Cave, a moderate drive out of town, is amazing... even compared to the Carlsbad Caverns National Park in New Mexico. I love caves and this tour while rustic is very well done. The formations are beautiful and varied. The experience is a little raw (watch out for uneven steps, bat guano covered handrails, and low ceiling obstacles you have to crouch to get past. The required guide we had did a great job for us, and the bamboo raft rides through the totally dark interior - save for lanterns - was quite unique and fun. One tip: take your own headlamp AND shine a bright light into places the lanterns' light doesn't reach. You'll be thankful you did!
My wife and I were just staying one night while passing through. Have to say, very impressed with how the property was set up and the quality of the room ... complete with a private outdoor kitchen! Being a bit our of town makes it a nice quiet location. Next year we will definitely try and stay here longer.
We found Pai a very busy and crowded village, mostly with young travellers. We had researched Pai before going and even though we had an expectation of many foreigners, it was quite shocking just how many were there. Everyone was on a moped or small motorbike making driving a car quite tense. Having said that, if you’re a young person looking for an amazing and adventurous place then Pai is definitely going to meet your needs! A highlight was the night market - lots of great food and goods for sale at reasonable prices. The surrounding areas are gorgeous, prepare yourself for skinny, windy and busy roads.
Pai is back to its bustling best. A compact, qurky place that began its tourist life 30 years ago as a hippy centre, a branding image that was somewhat tarnished by regular drug busts by the local police. It morphed into a 'Winter' destination for affluent Thais who hit town in their 4x4s wearing Alpine Skiiing gear (not strictly necessary even in the cool season!) and then by Chinese tourists promted to visit by a 2012 Chinese movie called 'Lost in Thailand'. Today Pai has come full circle. The bulk of the tourists are Western backpackers - though many appeared much older than the traditional backpacker. The difference this time around is that Marijuana/Cannabis has been legalised in Thailand and every 3rd shop/bar along Walking Street and beyond sold joints, lumps of weed and smoking paraphanalia. The sweet, pungent smell of Marijuana pervades everywhere. If smoking dope bothers you, Pai may not be for you right now. There are other business on Walking Street however, including lots of interesting and tasty street food and relaxed bars, although some played agressive rap 'music' with offensive lyrics (although I guess the owners don't have enough English to understand quite how bad some of them are). All in all Pai is a fun place to be right now if you are broadminded enough.
The owner Ann is probably one of the sweetest people I’ve met in Thailand. She runs 3 hostels in Pai, and does everything by herself. However, she still made time to organise a small party, hang decorations, cook food for about 30 people out of her own pocket, just because it was my birthday (she had only known me for one night). In addition, the vibe at the hostel was great! Very social, but not loud at all and not a party vibe. Ann, thank you for making my time in Pai amazing!

-Nom and her daughter were so kind and always there to help with anything - Bungalow was amazing - Most comfortable bed I slept in Thailand - Breakfast (you can pick any option) was delicious - close enough to walking street , but in a quiet and nice area - you can rent a scooter directly with Nom ( the scooters are very new ) Thank you so much for everything!

An AMAZING place to stay in Pai! The resort was absolutely stunning and very special, the location is so close to the Pai town center and there is a very convenient free shuttle service from the hotel! The included breakfast was the best I’ve ever had from a hotel stay, it was generous in portion and delicious. I can’t recommend this property enough!

We LOVED the Nest House! Our favorite in all of Thailand, just beautiful. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was fantastic. We wished we could have stayed longer, we loved Pia. We rented motorbikes in Chiang Mai and the ride up to Pia was beautiful. Would definitely visit Pia and the Nest House again!
I absolutely loved Kirina!! The facilities are amazing. This hotel seems brand new. There is a small gym & pool. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Our room had a private patio area with a gorgeous view. The owners and staff go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need!
the best overnight stay in Thailand. After two weeks, we came to the conclusion that this resort is in first place. The hospitality is great. The host is Jeffrey and Vanda. The breakfast is prepared with care. The room are clean. We come back.
Our favorite place we stayed in all of Thailand. The bungalows are perfect and we loved the cozy porch out front. Good variety of breakfast in the morning. Beautiful pool area and greenery throughout the property. The staff was very helpful!

the room was clean, spacious, comfortable, tastfully done and in the center of town. ''bam" the front desk clerk was exceptonally nice. this hotel is excellent value .
Best shower I have had in Thailand! Huge room and all facilities worked. The pool has been kept clean and you can lean on the edge and watch the river go by.
The area outside near the river is simply magical. We spent a hole day just sitting there. The hotel location cannot be any better.
Location, chill staff, diverse back ground hotel guests, common area.
