Railay Phutawan Resort is located along Railay Beach in Krabi, surrounded by green mountains and the beautiful Andaman Sea. This tropical getaway enjoys easy access to the nearby islands. It was all fantastic. The views in the morning are spectacular, and the breakfast that's put on is really tasty. I would stay again (or recommend it to friends) in a heartbeat.
Located along Krabi’s Railey West Beach, Sand Sea Resort - SHA Extra Plus features rooms with a private balcony. It showcases an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi in public areas. All the staffs are great, welcoming and very kind also to our requests! Stay here and you won't regret it! Spectacular view as well, railay beach is very beautiful!

So I never felt lonely as a solo traveller. Also, rooms are not close to social area or party so you can sleep well.
This luxurious resort on East Railay Beach in Krabi is surrounded by the exotic mountain landscape and emerald waves of the Andaman Sea. Amazing place, amazing food and amazing staff Chalie is amazing Thank you for your warm welcome and a special thanks to the restaurant team
Set amid a beautiful tropical landscape, just a short stroll away from Railay Bay in Krabi, Diamond Cave Resort & Spa offers stunning views and value-for-money accommodations. this is an amazing hotel and I would highly reccomend! love the rooms with the balcony and the spacious bathrooms.
It was so difficult choosing a Thai beach and we were delighted with the 8 days we spent at Railay. It is stunning and our hotel was right on the beach with 2 pools as well. The cliffs are awesome and you never tire of looking at them. There is delicious well priced food all along Walking Street plus massages, day trips, shops and transport. Arriving by boat makes it special and it was easy to get from Ao Nam Bao to Railay East pier although we did have to walk across with bags. Got hotel golf buggy on way out again. There are photogenic monkeys all over Railay but be careful with your food/drink! Diamond Cave is worth a look and we did the 7 Islands tour which was a great day out. We went in monsoon season so snorkelling was poor but swimming still good apart from some minor stings (jellyfish?). Only last about an hour, no worse than an insect bite. Several Thai Rasta venues most of which also do decent food and are very friendly if you just want a drink rather than something stronger!
I can always see the sunset here! The beach is a good place to run and just be away from everything for a while. However, because it's separated from the main island, things are more expensive here too and there's nothing much to do in the evenings.
It was good to see and compare to other Thai places but it's overpriced and very touristic. Lot's of Bob Marley pubs and all you hear is offers offers offers. But I recommend going to lagoon and view point - its amazing and the east beach for beautiful sunset.
The locals here are so kind and welcoming. The most I’ve felt yet in Thailand! Everyone made me feel wanted and happy to be here. The climbing was awesome, lots of different levels for beginners to experienced climbers. Lots to explore like lagoons and caves etc. Lush and green and colourful landscapes. Beautiful views everywhere you turn! I’m obsessed with this place.
Railay beach is totally amazing. The sunsets are glorious with the most amazing warm lapping water. I would recommend Pranang beach around the corner. Its a bit more iconic and has that stunning turquoise water with a limestone cliff in the middle which is just beautiful as well.
I feel that a review given during Covid isn't necessarily representative of the place visited. Railay Beach seemed relatively unspoilt, there were maybe half a dozen people around. I couldn't see anywhere open where I could buy a drink and relax out of the sun. I'm sure that neither of these would be applicable during normal times....
Very nice rooms and pool. The hotel is located in the center of Railay beach and have a jungle atmosphere which is very nice. Monkeys visit regularly. The staff is very nice!! we had to checkout at 5:30 am they waited for us, gave us transportation and even prepare us the breakfast as takeaway! we had an issue with the boat we booked and the staff help us with the issue even when we didn’t book it with them. great experience
It was just ok, not as great as it seems. The spa tub was bad and dirty. The bathroom smelled weird, and the “garden” had barely any plants (not like the pictures). There was no Spa at all. The room and breakfast was good. The swimming pool is very nice. The monkeys were fun to see, not aggressive at all. I would repeat at this hotel, but I would not pay extra for the “upgrade”.
Loved the pool access room, with wonderful day bed on the balcony. The room was clean and housekeeping very efficient. Staff were helpful, bar prices reasonable, breakfast decent with eggs in multiple formats and different flavorings. Hotel is a short walk to Walking Street, to the local hikes, and it is very easy to go from there to the sunset beach.
The staff were nice and the location was fairly good. As others have said, the good beach is on the West side but it is only a short 10 min walk. The hotel is close to the pier and the walk up to the hotel isn't strenuous. Awesome view of the cliff on the side of the bungalows and the pool area looks great.
Good location, specially for us, that arrived in the Railay East Pier.. but you had to climb a lot of stairs to get to the room. Breakfast wasn't included but they did have many affordable options at the hotel restaurant. We got a room with a fan, shared bathroom. It was pretty simple, but ok!
Honestly this hotel exceeded our expectations. From the natural beauty surrounding the hotel to the immaculate standard of the villas and the service makes the hotel stand out in every category. The food and breakfast was really good too.
Go for the location as my room was 10 seconds from the most beautiful beach on the planet, but don’t expect anything more from the hotel other than beach towels, sunbeds, and a room.
Great location Service provided to and from airport was worth it. It ran like clock work. Made us feel special. No hassle!!!! Railay beach & Phra Nang beaches were spectacular
The hotel was very quiet when we visited, but the rooms were very comfortable and the hotel is situated right on Railay beach, which fortunately for us was very quiet at this time.
One of the best and newest hotels in Railay beach area. Pool bar with excellent barman. 10 minutes walk to famous Phra Nang Cave beach. Many bars and restaurants nearby.
an Eco hotel located on a cliff jungle environment
Great resort in Railay beach. Nice staff.
It is a great place to stay! Staff is very friendly and they are accommodate to your needs. They are super clean and everything is in good conditions. It has a pool and a lot of activities to do. We stayed here for 4 nights whilst visiting Railey Beach. This is possible the best steal on the island. Amazing views and cute bungalows. Tasty traditional Thai sweets for breakfast. The place is tucked away in a beautiful part of the east beach -only a short walk to bars and food.
