Stayed at Thanyapura Health & Sport Resort for 7 days, except for a one day trip to Phi Phi Island - wonderful experience every day. Did not explore the surroundings. Would have liked to spend one more week in the area to explore beaches and nature.

I went to Thalang as a base for sailing.
I went to Thalang as a base for sailing. The Marina was well equipped. I enjoyed my stay at Chamil House before and after my sailing and found the food at 'the Living Room' delicious and excellent value for money. The area is gated for extra security. The only downside was a lack of good supermarkets nearby.

The location was convenient and staff are friendly. I really enjoy the ambience of the hotel, garden wing is especially suitable for a silent retreat like the one I attended. And the fireflies are totally unexpected and made my stay extra memorable and special. I hope the hotel will keep the garden wing as pristinely natural as it is now, so that fireflies will continue living there and will delight future travelers like how I was.
