The hotel is located near Park Afyon, on the central street, comfortable, clean, and cheap. They have a great cook, meals are tasty. What is most important - the staff is very welcoming and helpful. I would like to thank especially Osman Vicdan, who speaks English and is always ready to help. I really felt safe and cozy there. For such a low price, it's just great.

My mother and I were looking for a thermal resort of the highest quality to have a family time. In Turkey, Afyon stands out as a capital of hot springs, so it was our first choice. There are five 5* hotels in the city. During our 10 days stay, we have visited them all. Akrones is, definitely, #1 amongst all 5* hotels we have seen. It's an Eastern Palace style - grand and glamorous. For example, Akrones has a huge ball room - the largest we have ever seen (if anyone interested in a wedding for a thousand of people with an orchestra and dancing). All areas are very, very large and made of marble. Lots of very stylish lighting. Beautiful, very instagrammable soft sitting area. Outstanding dinners, especially on the weekends. Especially, we loved grilled Dorado, salad with smoked salmon, lemon ice-cream with pistachios. All sorts of fancy meats - a true heaven for meat lovers. Lovely omlets with meat and cheese for breakfast. All sorts of warm thermal pools, including private family pools. The staff is so hardworking, perfection oriented, and super hygienic. All people are very friendly. The guests are 95% of Turkish upper middle class and 5% of foreigners. I assume, foreigners are scared of travelling "that far". However, it's super safe and easy: we have been taking a direct, very comfortable bus from Antalya bus station - it's 4,5 hours ride with a few stops at lovely places. We have really enjoyed our bus trip. Also, you can take a direct taxi from Antalya. By the way, Erdem Karadeniz, our manager, has found our (new, quite expensive) jackets we have forgotten, using public transportation. Yes - the bus driver has kept them for us! By the end, we liked our stay so very much that we decided to stay a couple of weeks longer by paying directly to the hotel.
