I had some concerns about the hotel because of some points raised by people, but it seems they've improved the quality and the expectations of the hotel. They recommended me some of the local foods, places, and its history. Looking forward to coming to the hotel again for the summer, but with my family this time.

Didim is much bigger than we explored as we're there to chill. Varied types of travellers - no pushy retail staff - looong promenade that took several nights to explore. Plenty of ATMs. Turkey is not cheap anymore but the prices are fair if you select where you eat. Prices vary alot as does quality. So choose wisely generally you get what you pay for. Atmosphere is relaxed and fun - go inwards from promenade for better value. Don't leave without a boat trip. Make use of the dolmuś for travelling in heat. Research the boats a bit to suit your level of relaxation versus party boat. Enjoy

The Yacht Club location was perfect.

The Yacht Club location was perfect. Situated on the mariner but with a free shuttle service to local shops and restaurants. Hotel overlooks the mariner and the sea. Beautiful and scenic. The Yacht Club is a small hotel that may have 14 - 16 rooms. We ate mostly at the hotel as we were only staying for 4 nights. Very good sized swimming pool with a splash pool for younger children if needed. Kept very clean. Good pool side facilities, shower, toilets, food, cocktails and other drinks that you could order to your sunbed. Choice of food from menu was very good along with the quality and presentation. Exceeded my expectations. Meals and drinks were more expensive than more local restaurants/bars but not shocking. I don't think they offered an all inclusive offer for food and drinks. We used the Spa facilites for a massage, they also had a turkish bath room which you booked out for your private use only. Very relaxing. The only thing I would check next time is a good taxi driver as the one who collected us on arrival drove like he was in the film Fast & Furious. Abit worrying at times.

When we arrived at Reception.

When we arrived at Reception. They had no idea who we were or about our booking, After 15hrs travelling this is not what we needed. Once booking confirmed we actually had to ask please show us where the apartment was. Noted swimming pool empty and work in progress. Apartment - Upstairs rooms not very clean, Beds with only top cover no sheets, 2 out of 4 - A.C. units not working, properly one blowing out black dirt and dust, due to this one bedroom could not be used. Kitchen toaster when plugged in tripped main power breaker. 240 Volt power socket in one bedroom coming off the wall - safety issue.. Upper toilet dirty and smelling, toilet seat broken, towel rail broken and on the floor shelving missing, cupboard door not closing properly. Shower smelly, fittings filthy. BALCONY - filthy and could not be used till we cleaned it. T.V. never worked properly during our stay. free toiletries. 2 toilet rolls and 2 soap dispensers for 3 people for 11 days - no more supplied, no fresh water on arrival. One bedroom door with a hole in it, Patio door extremely difficult to use. Hair drier none supplied, Slippers - none. . Informed the owner the next morning of issues, as we had been messaging on Whatsapp. No repairs carried out, 3 days later guy arrived and told us T.V. - PROBLEM ?. Was informed that both out door pools would not be open till June. Restaurant would not be open during our stay. For the total cost of £1070 We think this is outrageous. This site and property should not be advertised on Booking.com in this condition. We are also looking to take this further as we think we should receive a refund as we would never have booked this holiday on a site basically shut down with an apartment in such poor condition. We WILL Obviously think twice before booking through Booking.com in the future due to our family holiday being basically ruined due to false information / advertising

Didim is an amazing place to visit, usually seen as a more affordable place for holiday makers it has so much more to offer. I travel there alot just to reset my self and feel relaxed! Either in the Noval Otel or Yarisir apartments i get a comfortable safe place to relax. Uncle sams shop on the beach front is crammed with amazing clothing and he will always get you a good price at the surrounding stores because hes genuinly nice person. David people, mavi cafe and the beach bar are my go to places to eat! I do love to try the local food but sometimes you just want a familiar meal and these 3 locations have added some great english twists to there menu. The miletos spa is a cathfish location, hands down my worst experience in hamam and massage! the green Jacuzzi water and open door massage next to the changing area made me feel less than relaxed. Instead i went straight to the Concordia spa hidden away on the beach and it was by far the best experience i have had. 3 hours i was being pampered and taken care of.... make a self care day of it and get the coffee scrub !!!!! the sights are amazing, the people are friendly and the food.... well its alot of large portions so come prepared to put on holiday weight lol

The hotel we booked was not up to standard of didim or expectations of turkey however this is mostly because the facilities and info on booking.com is incorrect. If it was correct (like no fitness centre and other activities) I wouldn't have booked it. Booking.com should send secret shoppers to their hotels to QC what they're advertising.

We lived in Didim for 15 years so all the local visitor...

We lived in Didim for 15 years so all the local visitor sites had all been seen, but if you're prepared to travel a few miles there are many more fabulous places to see. There is an excellent choice of bars and restaurants including an excellent Indian and also a Chinese restaurant.

The bed linen was dirty with hairs and grime. We had travelled there and paid for the room upfront so I persuaded the family to at least stay for lunch. We booked in at 1pm and I couldn't wait to leave, we checked out at 4pm - I couldn't wait to run away. The whole place smelt of sewage and the sea was grey like the northern sea in England for turkey this is disgusting.

Amazing Stay with a Great Sea View! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great time at Şafak Otel in Didim. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The best part was the amazing sea view from my room! The weather was perfect, sunny and warm. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. I really enjoyed my stay and would love to come back!

The hotel is in need of a refurbishment. To be fair I visited it out of season in December. They normally close around late November so this one has stayed open. It was cold and dark and there was no one there who understood english.
