Disastrous Stay - grandwork otel ​To Whom It May Correct, ​I am writing to express my absolute outrage and deep disappointment regarding our recent stay at your hotel. We booked a 4-star experience for our family, but what we encountered was a complete nightmare that fell far below even the most basic hospitality standards. ​Unacceptable Room Conditions and Maintenance Upon arrival, we were offered a room that was essentially a construction zone—unfit for human habitation and barely suitable for animals. It was insulting to be offered such a space. Even after changing rooms, the conditions were appalling: ​The sink was leaking constantly, and at one point, there was no running water at all. ​The TV was non-functional with no signal. ​Despite being promised Wi-Fi, we were unable to connect throughout our stay. ​The corridors were littered with removed room doors and construction debris, creating a noisy and hazardous environment. ​False Advertising Regarding Facilities We specifically chose this hotel for its spa and pool facilities. However, we were informed that the pool was closed. Furthermore, despite the spa being listed as included in our booking, the staff demanded extra fees for the sauna and other amenities. This is a clear case of false advertising. ​Poor Service and Disrespectful Staff It was evident that the reception staff treated us with hostility because we booked online. We were told that we "saved 200 Euros" by booking online, and the staff's attitude suggested we were being punished for it. This is unprofessional and discriminatory. ​Disastrous Breakfast Experience Although our booking included breakfast, the experience was shameful. Despite arriving during breakfast hours, basic items like cheese and even tea were unavailable. We were forced to leave the hotel and pay for a meal elsewhere just to feed our family. ​Conclusion We feel completely cheated. We paid for a 4-star hotel but received service inferior to the cheapest hostel.

We needed a place to stay in Cankaya for a night and this hotel was perfectly located for that. The breakfast was very good, parking was easy and the personnel was very positive.

Breakfast was excellent - buffet service so you could pick and choose and eat as much as you wanted. I'm a vegetarian and they had a variety of tasty cheeses, and fresh salad veggies (tomatoes, cucumber, peppers) plus cooked aubergine, sun dried tomatoes and paprika sprinkled boiled eggs to keep me more than happy. Reception staff arranged taxis for me very helpfully whenever I needed them and also directed me to the food hall of a nearby mall (a short walk away) for evening meals. They supplied an iron for my room when I needed to press a shirt and some trousers for a work presentation the following day. In short, I strongly recommend the Dafne hotel for those travelling for work. It was close to the Middle East Technical University, too, where I was attending an English teaching conference! The room was clean and had tea and coffee and a kettle for DIY refreshments, and the bed and room were beautifully made up each day! The walk-in shower in the bathroom was great. The staff were very friendly, too.

Worth staying! Everything was great, especially the reception staff. I’d like to thank Gülcan hanim (if I’m not mistaken) she was amazing! She helped me a lot and made my stay very comfortable. If I visit Ankara again, I’ll definitely stay here.

Staff are so friendly and gently. We enjoyed with kids in the swimming pool and the facilities. Also while we reach to hotel they already prepared our room with the extra bed.

Great hotel with plenty of free parking we stayed here over night between istanbul and cappadocia. The staff were great and very helpful. There are a number of cafes and restaurants close by
