Avesis Hotel in Nusaybin provides accommodations with a shared lounge, a garden and a terrace. In terms of service and overall quality, this was unexpectedly the best hotel I've stayed at in Turkey. It's a family run place and has only been open 3 years. The rooms have been kept up really well and despite not speaking much English the staff is incredibly friendly and does everything they can to help and provide excellent service. The morning I left, the owner drove me personally to my friend's office instead of putting me on a mini bus. This will be my go to hotel any time I come back to Nusaybin.
Set in a 1600-year old, restored building in Midyat, Shmayaa Hotel is located above the Midyat Silversmiths Bazaar and Assyrian churches. The ground floor is built with embroidered stones. very traditional in everything and the staff extremely friendly. we had our personal chef which I thought it was fantastic
Located in Mardin, beytsami taşev has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The hotel has a garden and provides a terrace. At the hotel, each room includes a closet. The owner is super friendly, willing to help and recommend what to do. you need minimum 2 nights to visit. the guesthouse is 5 min far from center, you need to climb the stairs up to the main street. For us it was good as we wanted to exercise and above all to avoid loud music in the main street of Mardin's restaurants. Breakfast is correct and the room was new. I highly recommend that you spend some time with owner in order to know more about the region over a free tasty turkish tea!
Located in a stone-built mansion, Gazi Konagi Butik Hotel offers views of Mardin Castle and the plains of Mesopotamia from its terraces. The hotel offers authentic rooms with modern amenities. Fabulous! We loved our stay in this hotel--we had 2 unique 'cave' rooms which we very much enjoyed and 1 spacious upstairs room which was more typical of an upscale hotel.
Set in a 800-year-old stone mansion with Arabic architecture, the historic Dara Konagı in Mardin offers stone rooms with plasma TVs and mini-bars. For relaxation, there is a hot tub and a garden. Great value. Central location, you can have a breakfast on the tarrace overlooking the plains, which is amazing. The staff will offer you more tea than you can drink :)
