The hotel is new and nice - the owner is a civil engineer. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom is just the right size with a modern and large shower cabin. A good Turkish breakfast is served at the table. The only thing we missed was the juice. The hosts (husband and wife) are very friendly. They are committed to sustainability. He is a charity rescue worker. We parked on a quiet street in front of the hotel. In high season this could be a problem - ask the host. Little kittens kept us company. We hope the lost one has been found. We would be happy to come back sometime.

AmazIng staff, gorgeous rooms, super central location! The owner was so friendly and lovely, she even gave us a lift to the train station when we left. We also had a free room upgrade which was a lovely touch! Breakfast was a delicious spread :)

Beautiful, quiet family run hotel. Short walking distance from all the major attractions, St. John’s Basilica, museum, Ephesus and the town. The staff are lovely, friendly and welcoming and so helpful. Breakfast is delicious and substantial, hot and cold items are available, and the scrambled eggs are amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights stay, and would highly recommend the hotel. Many thanks again to Zeynep and Dünyam 🤩

I had a wonderful and beautiful stay at Ibri hotel. The manager and caretaker of the hotel Nina is a beautiful soul who greeted me with delicious biscuits and coffee. Next morning I had to leave super early and she made delicious breakfast for me and gave me company. I was traveling as a solo woman and found the location of the hotel safe and close to the bus station and main street, both were at walking distance.

Everything has been perfect! Erdem and all staff are the warmest, sincere and very helpful. Rooms are furnished and decorated with high standard. Stay for more days if you can and spread the visit to the sights in the areas to a few days because it would be a shame not to relax in the beautiful garden and pool after a hard walk in Ephesus. Location’s great too, in a quiet and curated area but just a few minutes walk to see the vibrant local lives, and a few minutes drive from Ephesus is convenient to get there early and avoid the crowd.

Our room was spacious and spotless! It is evident that the place is well maintained. Plus the vibe fits perfectly with the area, very homey and relaxing. The host was also pleasant and accomodating to us. We even had a quick tour of the vicinity to give us an idea on the other places to visit as we arrived there with only Ephesus in mind.

If you come to Selcuk to see Ephesus you must stay at Ayasoluk hotel. The rooms are great value, spacious and with modern fittings. The property itself is beautifully decorated and is situated a short walk into town in a great neighbourhood. The restaurant at the hotel is excellent (including the breakfast) and the staff are helpful and attentive.

Very friendly landlord who speaks perfect English. He is willing to help you with advice where to eat and what to see. The property is very nicely decorated. The swimming pool is very clean and refreshing. There is a big closed parking by the hotel.

Selcuk is a great place to visit Ephesus from.

Selcuk is a great place to visit Ephesus from. Dolmus buses run from the town to Ephesus every 20 mins. The Selcuk museum has some great finds from Ephesus and is well worth a visit. Temple of Artemis, St John basilica and castle are in the town and there are some great restaurants and bars as well. Selcuk has a laid back charm and well worth visiting

Close to Ephesus.

Close to Ephesus. We travelled in spring and the orange tree lined streets were in blossom so the smell was heavenly! Lovely cafes and bakeries. Easy to get around and very relaxed. Dolmas were the way to travel-so cheap and easy.

Great base for visiting local Ephesus old city ruins and other sites in the town like the Mosque, St John Churcha and Citadel. Rich variety of shopes and Sat market was huge vibrant experience in itself. Overall very affordable and easy to get around on foot or local buses. Day trip to local Sirince a must to see the dozens of market style stalls in narrow hilltop pedestrainsed lanes and alleyways. Would go again - perhaps in slightly warmer weather that 20c . But the cool breeze was refreshing. Recommend it / Check it out

It is incredibly close to one of the best ancient sites in...

It is incredibly close to one of the best ancient sites in Türkiye, but the town is well worth a visit in and of itself. Despite being so close to tourism central, the town felt very much a community of locals. Even in the most tourist-visited establishments, there was minimal hassling from the sellers. Unlike bigger cities, you could browse and talk to merchants without getting the hard sell. It's a cliché but Selçuk just has a wonderful vibe.

There is so much history, culture and spirit in this place.

There is so much history, culture and spirit in this place. I came for Mother Mary’s House which was a delight to my spirit, but I also toured the ruins of Ephesus, the Basilica of St. John and the Temple of Artemis. The surrounding orchards and beaches lend so much natural beauty to this mountainous valley by the sea.

We came for Ephesus off-season (January) and were not disappointed. We first went to the museum - a great introduction to the sites and to the history of the ancient city. The statues of Artemis there are awe-inspiring. We spent a day driving to see the House of Mary and the ruins of Ephesus. We started so early in the morning that we had the place to ourselves most of the time. One night we found a restaurant in the old city and enjoyed the fantastic local cuisine. Another time our guide took us to the nearby Phoenix Art Gallery where there were demonstrations of glass-blowing and mosaics (they even let us try our hand at it. Blow gently through the glassblowing tube). A great trip.

Wow what a stay!! This was such a cool accomodation. Really great proximity to Ephesus, although I would suggest it’s best if you have a car or have taxis organised as it’s a bit of a walk into town. The staff/family were so so friendly and helpful. And now onto the best part, the food! Hands down some of the best food we ate in Turkey, these guys can cook! Breakfast was insane, such a huge spread and dinner showcased the beautiful local ingredients. The domes were very cute and clean with comfy beds.

Location is exceptional and the staff is really kind, the hotel looks like your house, every detail is minimally thougt to make you feel at home. The beds were super comfortable and the sizes of the rooms were just right. Be aware of the stairs if you have mobility issues. Breakfast is made with love and it was one of the best we had in our trip to Turkey, delicious and conforting. Thanks for the lovely stay, we would definitely come back!

The owner/manager was amazing and the hospitality he and his team offered was incredible and really helpful.
