Staff was super supportive. Mr. Ali ( intern - Yemeni ) made the stay even more amazing. Fully extended his support to whatever we needed. Kept giving chocolates to my son once he would eat proper meal. Now my son remembers this hotel and Mr. Ali's name. Along with him was the owner Mr. Ismail (turkish) - also very supportive. As per booking.com, it shows 2 stars, but it deserves mininum of 3-4 stars. Food wise, their hamburger is very juicy and delicious.

We stayed in hotel which was near to the Trabzon Square.

We stayed in hotel which was near to the Trabzon Square. It was our favorite place which we walk every night. Also every day we was enjoyed daily tours to Ayder , Uzungol and Zigana. I suggest this type of daily tours to everyone can enjoy. For eating the best place for us was Cemil Usta Restaurant which located in the Trabzon Square. Trabzon was very clean and reachable city. With baby carriage we didn`t suffer from reach to any place or cross the ways. For enjoying in the City I suggest Trabzon Aquarium, Seaside parks and etc.

The Sumela Monastery is a must see.

The Sumela Monastery is a must see. But the bonus is the breathtaking views on the drive up to the Monastry. Nearby Rize and the tea farm is beautiful. But the peace de resistance has to be Ayder. Like the Swiss Alps with its unique Turkish culture. The views is not to be missed. The snow capped mountains with its mountain streams and the “Devil river” used for Riverafting. Lots of construction on the roads, building more tunnels. The construction of the houses, apartments along the mountain slopes, is Engineering perfection.

Trabzon is a mixture of old traditional and modern Turkish city, always giving a feeling of safety, comfort and good mood to the visitors. Helping hosts, polite people on the streets, vivid spirit and amazing food, goods offered, coffee and sweets, just amazing. Parks, visits to the top of the hill, museum of Ataturk, many places to visit. Highly recommendable.

There are many day trips in Trabzon.

There are many day trips in Trabzon. Some for historical places which I don't recommend as it could be same as anywhere else, but to go for Landscape & Nature which are the competitive advantage in Trabzon. In fact, most of sightseeing are not in Trabzon city itself but in adjacent cities like Rize. However Trabzon considered as central point to stay in then go around. Before my arrival, I was looking for specific tours, but I have made changes when I found better sightseen than what is commercially announced on social media. On the top of course: Uzungol. It's out of discussion :) - 2nd: Hidernebi. It's not well known but incredibly amazing. You will almost be over the sky or to be honest, to reach a top view where you will be inside the cloud while part still above and other part lower than you. Those are the most attraction I loved them. There are others like Ayder but it was ok, not wow. The Top of the top but unfortunately I see it dangerous to go is "Huser " All videos show it's unbelievable where the top of the mountain is totally above the cloud. However all reviews I saw which is not much actually are talking about its dangerous road which bumpy, rocked, and not smoothed and so narrow going up / down the mountain by cars. My concern is this trip usually going up to see the sunset., so how come to get down in the dark ?!! So finally I choose to go Hidernebi instead which could give you closer experience and view but not risky. Most of people hang out by night around the city center square "Mydan" I see nothing there, however instead, the coast side is better by sunset to relax.
