Staffs are always friendly. Offers (paid, not free) shuttle services to the Taichung high speed rail station. It is very convenient and cost effective - no need to rent a car to drive up the mountain.

Set next to the lush Xitou Nature Education Area, 妖怪森林 The M Village is uniquely designed with wood framed facade. Guests enjoy a easy access to the Japanese-style Monster Village. Did not expect much but we got an excellent room. It has a bay window facing the beautiful tall trees and splendid mountain. Nice 'Kumar' room theme.

Minzu hotel was a great option to stay while visiting Lugu township. The room was spacious, cleaned every day. Good internet connection + smart TV. The chinese style breakfast was ok. Parking without problems.
