It was a perfect experience to stay Ri Jing Yuan. It felt more like going to visit relatives than just staying at a hotel. The host was very kind and patient with me. She showed me around the property and made sure I had everything I needed. In the morning she made me breakfast, chatted with me, and even gave me a small bag of fruit before my hike. I found this to be the perfect palce to stay before going to Maolin to see the butterflies. If I am ever in Kaohsiung again, I will definitely be back!
