It was a good hotel. We saw cloud see on top of the hotel and we met a clerk, Alex, who was a great photographer. He helped me to take a picture of me and my parents. IT WAS A GREAT PICTURE AND I VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.

The stay is inside the theme park. The room has nice wall arts which related to the theme. Facilities inside the room is good.

Dafong Hotel is just a 10-minute walk from Alishan Railway Station, where restaurants serving traditional Taiwanese delights reside. It also offers free WiFi access and private parking.

Woman at the front desk was helpful and could speak multiple languages. She helped us book a van for sunrise tour and recommended trails we should hike. The room itself was fine - no frills, but has a Japanese bidet and was clean. Hotel is conveniently located near all the restaurants / tourist area. There is also a van to shuttle you and your luggage to the bus station, which is a plus.
