Easy to get into the town in a TukTuk.
Easy to get into the town in a TukTuk. We walked back to the hotel. Busy roads and its a bit like wacky races but we enjoyed the vibe. Friendly people who helped us navigate the town. We went to the market, the cultural centre and the Natural History Museum. We had lunch just off the Boma at The Coffee Cafe. We had a young man who stayed with us and looked after us and showed us the sights for a small tip. There are lots of people who ask you to buy stuff and beg but we never felt unsafe. Everyone is friendly. Nice guide at the museum who was knowledgeable and interesting.John - Scored 8.08.0
Great place to travel for both business and leisure.
Great place to travel for both business and leisure. Uzunguni and Njiro are good areas to be comfortable to move around on late nights. I visited Uzunguni Park, Andrew's, George's Tavern, Kitamu Cafe and House, Pablo Picasso, Beer Garden and some fried fried from Jfc 😊. In-drive is a game changer for easy movements.

Arusha is not a pleasant place, on the very dirty crowded streets there is non stop people grabbing and talking to you all wanting money, we had one person tell us about his mother in the hospital and wanted us to pay her bills. Arusha is a means to a safari and that is it.

Arusha is a busy city. I have visited old German Boma which was converted into Natural History Museum. Seen also Arusha Declaration Monument and Clocktower which they claim it’s located in the middle of Africa or let say in the middle between Cairo and Cape Town. They have some supermarkets like Shoppers Supermarket or AIM Mall on the way to Arusha Airport. East African Community HQ and Heritage Museum.KrzysztofUnited Kingdom
