I spent a week at Wademac Arusha Inn and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I can only recommend it. Manager McCollins was very attentive and always friendly, helping with any problem. The rest of the staff was also very attentive and courteous. All my requests were addressed. The rooms are well-equipped and comfortable. Also the food was very delicious. Thank you for the great time.

We hired our Tulia Retreat Hotel driver for pm to visit the awesome African Art Gallery/store (min. 2 hrs.), the Coffee Lodge Disabled artists workshops/store (1 hr.) and a local Arusha coffee farm tour (min. 1-1/2 to 2 hrs.). Can highly recommend all three but need plenty of time to fully explore the African Art Gallery as there are so many floors with multiple sections as well as an extensive outdoor sculture garden.

I liked the customer care service by the management.It was not far from Arusha town. I enjoyed the Bajaj ride with the many thousands in Tanzania shillings. We had gone for dyslexia talent show and on requesting bolt a bajaj was there pap. We net with other Kenyans and it was all fun. For exchange of currency,one can use withdraw cash via ATM using Visa enabled atm card. It is wise to have a vodacom line Wifi was not stable and communication home was only via whatsapp.

Arusha is an excellent tourist town full of many things to do. My recommendations would be to visit 1) The cultural heritage center which is free of charge. 2) Lake Duluti which has and excellent view of Mt. Meru. We paid an entrance fee of TSH 3000 for a nature walk along the Tanzanian Forest Reserve along Lake Duluti. A boat ride costs TSHS 80,000 for the big boat. 3) Ngare Serro Lodge which has an entrance fee of TSH 50,000 and you can do activities such as horse ride, boat ride on the USA river etc. 4) Hike Mt. Meru

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Hekima House. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed and completely at home. The atmosphere is peaceful, beautifully designed, and perfect for relaxing after a long day of travel or safari. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged, with great attention to detail. The staff truly make the difference—they are incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality feels genuine and personal, not just professional. The food was another highlight—fresh, delicious, and well-prepared, offering a great mix of local and international flavors. Every meal felt like something special. What I loved most is the overall vibe: calm, safe, and authentic. It’s the kind of place where you can truly unwind and enjoy the surroundings. I would highly recommend Hekima House to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay. I will definitely be coming back!

Arush is somewhat outdated. Full of history and character.

Arush is somewhat outdated. Full of history and character. A lot of old dilapidated buildings. Ladies, I suggest flat footwear as heeled shoes are Impratical and dangerous. Footpaths are uneven and in some places there are none, there open drains with and without cover. The ground is uneven in places. People are extremely helpful and otherwise.

I loved the cool weather and pleasant people (mostly). Our taxi driver was so kind and considerate, ensuring we found our accommodation and were well settled in. Others helped me get the currency right till the numbers clocked in right in my brain, making sure I didn't lose money or get taken advantage of. Life is relaxed there. Loved the cuisine. I also attended a wedding and experienced new culture It was worth my time! We had a cook who made us superb meals! lots of coffee plantations.

We enjoyed our stay so much we rebooked again for a night after our safari, the staff are so welcoming the rooms clean and comfy, we never got to try the food in the restaurant but it smelled lovely, we also found a really lovely spa 3 mins walk away that was much needed after a 3 day safari Indulgence spa and Sauna Arusha, we also ate at the ribs restaurant a minute walk away which was delicious. If ever I find myself in the area again I wouldn’t think twice about rebooking to stay at this hotel. 5* for every staff member we encountered.

Wow, what a find! Tucked away in a lush banana plantation near Arusha, this eco-hostel stole my heart. My cozy barn cabin felt like a treehouse dream, complete with a porch swing and stunning Mount Meru views. But the real showstopper? The incredibly cheap eats and drinks! I feasted on delicious organic meals straight from the farm without breaking the bank. If you're after an authentic Tanzanian experience that's easy on the wallet, Banana Farm Eco Hostel is a must-visit. Trust me, your taste buds and your budget will thank you!
