Kijani Beach Villas, hotel in Bwejuu

Facing the beachfront, Kijani Beach Villas offers 1-star accommodations in Bwejuu and features an outdoor swimming pool, garden and shared lounge.

The breakfsast and the meals in general were very good. The rooms were quite nice. After we came back from our rides the rooms were always cleaned and tidied up with fresh towels and fresh bottles of water. I was overwhelmed by the friendliness of the staff there, specially the manager Aliya. She was always asking if everything was ok, if we needed something, etc. She helped us to organize all the tours (with very good suggestions and providing the driver). On our last day, our flight from Zanzibar to Dubai was cancelled due to poor weather conditions in Dubai. So, again, Aliya suggested and helped us to book a flight from Zanzibar to Dar Es Salaam and from there we were able to catch a plane to Dubai the next day.

Pili Pili Orient Beach Resort, hotel in Bwejuu

Located a 3-minute walk from Bwejuu Beach, Pili Pili Orient Beach Resort offers 5-star accommodations in Bwejuu and has a garden, a restaurant and a bar.

A stay too short, far too short. We went to the Orient for just one night and what we received here surprised us greatly. Great rooms, great service. Private pools, excellent restaurant. Location right on the ocean. Hussain the manager - very helpful. Very ! We will return here for sure. Unfortunately they don't have room for us now but we will be back in a few days. For those who book here, I would recommend a minimum of 2-3 nights. Do it right away !

We stayed at Mustapha’s Place for nine nights with our 1 and 4 year old. The staff were incredible and so friendly. The pool and playground were so fun for our little ones. Bwejuu is set on a beautiful beach north of Paje.

Bwejuu is set on a beautiful beach north of Paje. There’s a lot to do in the area (caves, forests , spice farms, Rock restaurant) and lots of bars and restaurants however you’ll need transportation to access them. We travelled around the entire island in an hire car which I would highly recommend, was great fun and easy to find our way around. I would say this area is more dirty and littered which is a shame as the rest of the country is really well kept.

We were a family of 10 people.

We were a family of 10 people. I did not expect to walk in sand all over the place. The foliage kept it a little cooler. The pool was fine and clean. I did not expect no air conditioning and trying to stay cool with a standing room fan. Food was Ok - nothing special. The drive from the airport after dark was dangerous. The walk to the beach was short. A few restaurants were open down the beach. We moved to another resort just down the street after one night and had clean rooms, air conditioning, on the beach, great meals. We kept our keys because they said we could not get a refund for the 2nd and 3rd nights we had reserved. They said we could come back and use the pool but did rent out our rooms from the 2nd & 3rd nights. It was more like a hostel but was not advertised well on Booking.com

Bwejuu is a small village with two shops where you can buy groceries and cosmetics. There is public transport there. In the vicinity is bigger village of Paje where there are more restaurants and shops. The beach is absolutely beautiful - white sand, wide a very long (excellent for walks and looking for shells), few people there. The best restaurants are Shanti café and Sahari. You can hire kite board there and teacher for kite boarding. 8 km from Bwejuu is beautiful place where you can watch sunset and enjoy big bar with excellent drinks and good music for dancing.

    Bwejuu has a great beach.

Bwejuu has a great beach. It is relatively quiet with only a few people working the beach to sell tours etc. We met some friendly locals and joined in some birthday celebrations, which was fun. Best be aware that there is a big tide so you can’t swim all the time. When the tide is in, the water is shallow and very warm. In the evenings there is a warm breeze that is refreshing and keeps the mosquitoes away.

    Bwejuu area is very disappointing.

Bwejuu area is very disappointing. It has a beach that cannot be enjoyed, far from everywhere, much more expensive than Nungwi and much lower quality. It is a complete mess. I don’t understand why Paje and Bwejuu area are so famous

A really nice hotel in Zanzibar in a quiet area, perfect for relaxation. The hotel itself is beautiful, the staff are really nice and friendly. The restaurant at the hotel is surprisingly Greta wihr homemade gnocchi and nice pizza. They have a very long menu, which provides variation for if you want to eat there every day. We really enjoyed ourselves and could leave nice and relaxed. We even tried the massages, which were enjoyable. Can recommend.

The staff was super friendly, we really miss Warda and the rest of the team. The owner, Josie was also super accomodating and shared her gym equipment with me. The pool was beautiful and the morning sunrises magical. The hotel is admittedly a paradise. The yoga was super nice combined with the brunch on Sunday. Room was delightful as well as the beach.
