Very beautiful location and great view of kilimanjaro once it came out! The staff was So helpful and kind. Laundry is available for a very reasonable price and taxi was available too! Took one to the airport for only 95,000 Shillings!

    The weather is great - quite cool at this time of year. The town is clean and well labelled. It is a small town so its very serene and has little traffic jam. I consider it a great stop-over if heading to Dar es salaam by road from the Kenya side.

    It's a busy but friendly city, I was grateful to not be driving myself anywhere. Taxis are very easy to get. It helps to have someone local who can help you navigate. The food is great and the people are kind.

    Leafy town on the southern slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

    Leafy town on the southern slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The town itself does not have a real center, just a tacky sculpture of Mt. Kilimanjaro in the center of a roundabout. However, if you stay a little bit outside of town then you can enjoy the unique location.

    There is a lot of really nice restaurants(indointaliano is one of the best) and the view of Kilimanjaro is amazing. Moshi is the best place to find a company which will take you to the summit of Kilimanjaro. You can also do day trips from Moshi to Materuni waterfalls or Kikuletwa Hot Springs.

    There is absolutely nothing to do in Moshi and is only good...

    There is absolutely nothing to do in Moshi and is only good if you do a tour or two and hike Kilimanjaro. When you are done with those, get out! The do have a Regional Immigration Office that will extend your visa for 30 days if you need it.

    Dee is such a nice host. If you are looking for an authentic way to get to know the Tanzanian culture and people, this is the place to go. It feels more like a home than a hotel. More like a stay with friends than with strangers. Dee and Peter helped us a lot with the organization of trips & always did the extra mile for us. We really enjoyed our stay here!     Sophie and her family are very welcoming. The place is cosy, decorated with taste and clean. They organised dinner, which was delicious and healthy. The breakfast was also very good, mainly with local products. Highly recommended if you want a Tanzanian experience and meet people!
