Woken up by the rudest employee saying we had not paid for our room. She never identified herself. we told her we had the confirmation where it was paid. Again She never identified herself. She immediately Threatened to call Security. Told her ok. Call someone. She then left. Later we got another horrible banging on the door by some man. We told him we paid for a room. They didn’t let us sleep. We asked to speak to the Manager. Naturally manager was on site. Told the man we needed to get dressed and would meet in the lobby. In the lobby were two new ladies. We explained how we were treated and the said night clerk messed up royally. She might have gotten fired then for being away from her post. One of the ladies got a hold of the manager by phone. She explained what happened by phone to this manager. I assume he’s a man. He said to not charge us. Our credit card was already billed so we are waiting for our $88.46 refund which we’ve still not received.

Always love Albuquerque. Good shopping and restaurants.
Always love Albuquerque. Good shopping and restaurants. We have family there and used to live there so always good to visit and enjoy the city again. However, traffic is sometimes crazy and some parts of the city are not safe at night.
We enjoy the Mexican restaurants, the tram to Sandia peak, the old town area, and the art museum and museum of natural history. The Indian cultural center is also interesting.

Better know where you are going!
Better know where you are going! Some 3rd world crime areas there. Don't use your blinker, it is a personal challenge for the spot you want to move to. Avoid SE Albuquerque at all costs! Confusing traffic control and it is a giant drug house and homeless camp.

Wonderful part of NM but you have to watch the neighborhoods you go to in the city itself. It is a wonderful home base for traveling around northern NM as it is less expensive than Santa Fe. Great restaurants like El Patron and Flying Star and don't miss Old Town or the BioPark. Its nice East/West street orientation makes is easy to get around and both 40 and 25 are good roads.
If I ever come back to Albuquerque, I will definitely be booking here again! They have done an amazing job remodeling!! We had a family room which is 2 rooms combined. One with a queen bed and a bunk room with 6 bunk beds build in. The kids absolutely loved it!! All of the beds were super comfortable. On the outside the hotel looks like a classic rt 66 motel and on the inside it's a 5 star luxury resort. You are close to everything. Old town is about a 12 minute walk. We absolutely hate to leave this hotel!!
We cannot state enough how much we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Zazz. Not only is the design thoughtful and inspiring, the rooms are super clean and and well laid out - it‘s the hosts that make this place so special. Attentive, friendly and helpful the made our two days a most memorable experience!
We also found Nob Hill to be the most fun area in ABQ during our stay. Nice restaurants (check out the next door Farmacy!!!) and bars nearby are all in walking distance!
It is very close to the airport and thier free shuttle service os excellent . Bkfst is also good and a lot of options .the front desk is very helpful and always smiling and willing to help with anything. A perfect stop if u just have an overtime stay at Albuquerque and a flight to catch . They also have a free shuttle once a day to oldtown Albuquerque
Hotel was good, staff was very friendly!
The hotel is well located, all main places of Albuquerque are 15 mins driving away.
Hotel is room is okay, AC is working, bed is comfortable. I think this hotel is good if you’re visiting Albuquerque and just need somewhere to sleep in a safe area, and not very expensive and this is what I was looking for.
Fab place, great for one night. Near restaurants and not far from the tram. We took a lovely sunset ride on the tram. Breakfast was fab. Lots of options, clean and tidy. The 2 bedroom suite was very large and fitted a family of 6 easily. The price was excellent. The cheapest of 12 stops and one of the best.
