Located in Beatty, Nevada, 8.1 mi from the entrance to Death Valley National Park, this motel offers an outdoor pool, a hot tub and a furnished terrace with BBQ facilities and shaded seating. I have stayed at other places in Beatty and this was the best, updated, clean, hot tub, very nice place
With a seasonal outdoor pool, El Portal Motel is in Beatty, the Gateway to Death Valley. Free Wi-Fi access is available in all guest rooms. I wanted last-minute accommodation near Death Valley for under $100/night. I was between two hotels and choosing this one was not a mistake (I drove by to check out the other one later and wow). Beatty is extremely small but still has good cell service and wifi - not the norm around Death Valley. The room and property was clean and set up with coffee and a minifridge that made all the difference in my stay. Excellent value! I was charmed and intrigued by the town itself - no chain restaurants, isolated location, long history.
Located within Death Valley National Park, The Inn at Death Valley features a 24-hour front desk. This property also provides guests with an outdoor pool. Guests can have a drink at the bar. Beautiful lodge with excellent proximity to the sights. Especially good service from Allison at the front desk, and Carlos and Lilyana in the restaurant who tried to help me find vegan options on the menu even though there weren’t any. And thank you to restaurant manager Gabe for hearing my concerns about that issue and I look forward to seeing the new menu rolling out soon that WILL include vegan options! Can’t wait to come back in the fall to try them.
Pahrump RV Park & Lodging is located in Pahrump, Nevada. Accommodations are comfortable, fully-furnished recreational vehicles (RVs) with private bedrooms. For us it was a first experience of staying in the RV, it was awesome. Inside it's even bigger than we thought. Very clean, spacious and comfortable. Also nice, friendly and helpful staff.
This Pahrump, Nevada hotel features a casino and on-site restaurants. Free Wi-Fi is offered. Sanders Family Winery and Pahrump Valley Winery are a 15-minute drive away. Clean room, easy check in and check out. Huge serving for ham, egg, toast breakfast (breakfast is not included in out room fee). We stayed for just one night
Truly in the middle of nowhere. Less than an hour drive to Death Valley. 90 minutes to Las Vegas. 5 minutes to Ash Meadows Wildlife Preserve. If you are looking for a home base, this will meet your needs well. Nothing else around here but very quiet and picturesque desert location.
Very quiet and isolated location. The water feature was soothing. The steakhouse- only open on Friday and Saturday nights, was great! Good food, good service- we went both evenings for dinner and was not disappointed either time.
Beautiful scenery and good roads condition. So glad to enjoy the natural beauty of it all without being cluttered with billboards or such -- just natural beauty. The place I stayed, and had meals, is like a lovely oasis out there.
The beauty of the west begins here. The change in weather (cooler); the landscape (farm-like); and the view (dramatically fascinating) as well as the culture (Native American); made this stop most memorable. Bring your camera.
Middle of nowhere. If Beatty was the town almost without services, this place is just empty. But gas stations and few places to eat exists. Nevertheless it's close to Death Valley national park and I know perfect hotel I really like. That's why this place is one of may favorite spots for vacation. Make sure that your car is in a good shape, your tires are good and you have spare wheel and repair kit. If you'll stuck here, towing will be long and expensive. Make sure that you have medikit with all pills required. Otherwise the nearest place will be Puhrump. AT&T is dead here, T-Mobile works somehow. Internet is so-so.
Death Valley National Park was easy to access from this hotel however the hotel is dated plus the bathroom shower and sink needed a good cleaning. Towels were big. Sheets looked grey and old. The casino absolutely sucked as you don't get a cash receipt and two staff have to sign for the money which means it is very hard to cash out and go to another machine. This effort to pressure a customer to blow the money on one machine(thus supposedly for the house to make more money) backfired for us as we got frustrated and left. The restaurant ran out the special and some other dishes. However the Death Valley National Park was absolutely amazing and that is the biggest reason we stayed and why we would come back.
