We lived this motel! Clean and comfortable room. A kind-hearted girl checked us in. The view of the snow-capped mountain range from the parking lot was amazing.

Don’t stay at the DK Motel.

Don’t stay at the DK Motel. This is the worse place I have ever stayed in, in my 53 years of travel. Broken chair injured my wife and she was bitten 3 times by what appears to be bedbugs, toilet leaks and takes 2 flushes every time, broken front window, stains so bad on chairs and carpet (we had to sit on towels), left over food in refrigerator and worst of all, management was very rude and mean. This was a nasty place.

There was a little park commemorating the submarines and we found out Arco was the first city in the world to be lighted by atomic energy. There is all sorts of history here to learn. Craters of the Moon, nearby, was a lot of fun for the adults and the kids got to run off lots if steam, as well as getting their Junior Ranger badges. We had lunch at the Sombrero Cowboy. It's a little family run place. We had a split of people wanting hamburgers and those wanting tacos or taco salads. This place fit the bill perfectly!
