In a conversation after our stay, Julia, the manager, stated that the property is under new ownership and they are renovating it. There were definite improvements in the unit we stayed. For example, the bathroom was newly done; the ceiling fan and comfortable mattress were a plus in the bedroom; in the kitchen we found a full, spacious refrigerator and a microwave. The noise from the traffic over a bridge nearby and current air conditioning unit in the bedroom might bother some but not all guests. Finally, the manager also said she was willing to accommodated our needs and would have upgraded us had we requested it. So, it looks like they are going in the right direction to provide a good stay for guests.
