Breakfast ok. Noisy at night. Fireworks or gunshots woke me up. Difficult check in due to computer glitches widespread in Seattle that day.

Holiday Inn Express Federal Way - Seattle South, an IHG Hotel, hotel in Auburn

Located just off I-5 and less than 2 miles from the Pacific Rim Bonsai Collection, this hotel features a heated indoor pool and an on-site American restaurant.

Location is good. Near big street, walking distance to a lot of restaurants. Clean room and towels. Staffs are just okay. But bathroom leaks water since we entered the room. Because we only stayed one night, I didn’t bother to ask them to switch room or fix it. But there’s ton of water on the bathroom floor. Breakfast ends at 10am. We slept till 10am, so missed it. Wish it lasts to 11am.

It’s 20 mins from Seatac so handy for the airport.

It’s 20 mins from Seatac so handy for the airport. Auburn has not much but a good place to get over jet lag and visit around the area. Several big parks. Big outlet mall to while away some time for an evening flight.

No working tv was told it would be fixed but no light bulbs in lamps. Microwave not connected to be used then took forever to warm anything. Was told 3 different stories about refund. Staff not helpful at all.

    nice, clean city near SEATAC.

nice, clean city near SEATAC. Everyone was friendly enough, just make sure you lock your doors and stay out of alleys & underpass areas: I was looking for a hiking trail to smoke a little doobie before heading to SeaTac. I found the trail entrance was tucked behind & under a freeway overpass. I'm from Phoenix, so I knew better than to risk heading into this area as a female alone. Sure enough, just around a slight bend and out of view from the parking area was a ripped ladies' purse with it's contents strewn all over the ground in what seemed like a struggle. I noticed a syringe and lamp cord and lighter and foil. Even though this was next to a transit center and busy parking lot in the middle of the day on a sunny weekday. Yikes, no thank you. I just walked around the perimeter of the lot in full view of traffic and smoked, not worth the possible trouble. This was the only time I felt worried or even concerned for my safety in Auburn. Stay around folks & you will probably be fine: just like in life.

Nothing- it was scary loud probably illegal activity all night long- scared. Did not sleep. Worst place of my life- afraid, afraid to call desk as they may be “ tolerating” activity. Too scared. Left as soon as it was light out

10 mins drive to Auburn center, super quite residence area. Everything is absolutely over spec! Far more comfort than commercial hotel. Ligth cook buy yourself, save more. Lisa is so nice, prepared everything, welcome wine, cookies, even allow me to charge my EV through their outdoor outlet. Hot tub is clean and heated, it's a luxurary experience!! The price is for sure lower to market at this moment, however, it worth more to spend in future here. Would want to come again in short time. Highly recommended!!!

Teresa is the best staff member of this hotel. She always smiles and shares her kindness and hospitality with everyone. The hotel is located in Auburn, a very beautiful town. Also, I liked breakfast and that towels were changed every day.
