I enjoy the many eating establishments around Augusta. It has some of the best chefs in the South. There are also a large supply of hotels, motels, extended stay hotels, and airbnb's. I love the many hotels and motels where I've stayed while visiting there. It's good to good to go downtown to Cafe 209 to eat some of Cassandra's cooking. The ever popular S&S Cafeteria is still in business. I also visited the Augusta Mall at the Macy's store to purchase a Valentine gift and some shopping. Yes Augusta is still my hometown. But it needs much work politically and economically still as the poor here are no better off than when I left here in 1984. This city has not grown any I'm afraid.
The bed was very comfortable but the neighbors up stairs were up all night I kept calling front desk he said he spoke to them and I know I called him at least 3 times he said call back in the morning when the manager gets there I did and all she said was sorry the neighbors said I was lying and I asked her to come to my room for at least 15 minutes and she didn't I guess because it was about checkout time
Augusta is a very busy city. I was surprised by the amount of traffic I saw during the day. There were plenty of spots to eat at for all taste. Steak, burgers, chicken, salads, and anything else you could want to eat. I was there for a bowling tournament so did not get out much, but will definitely come back again.
To many homeless, to down right shady people. Once my surgery is over I am leaving the first minute I get back out of the anesthesia. This has been a very expensive aggravation and headache. I hate this place. I would recommend staying as nice as possible and stay away from any low budget places here. They are really really shady
The fact that I was having such a great time and had to deal with the age old say "time sure flies when you're having fun". the city has begun to grow once again and that is a good thing with the influx of people and the ability of the Augusta to meet the demands of an expanding economy.
It’s a wonderful place to visit and enjoy. There are great places to eat and shop. There are lakes Riverfront hotels and historic places to visit. Hotels are close to anything you need Interstate nearby. Eat at California Dreaming Texas Roadhouse and Goosby restaurant. I will avoid the hotel that I stayed. Hawthorn Suites
Anytime my family and I come to Augusta this is where we stay. I love the location because it’s right around everything I need while I’m there. The staff is always friendly and ready to help. Even on its most crowded days there’s never been an issue. It’s quiet, relaxing, and most importantly, clean. I never have problems booking with booking.com and the prices are always good. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Augusta.
Augusta
The location was great just off hwy 20.The room was clean and very nice, it even had a kitchen and seating area. The bed was very, very comfortable, we slept good after a long drive. They have a good breakfast hot and cold which is available from 5-9 .It was close to the Augusta VA, where we had traveled for appointments. When in the area we will definitely stay here again. They also offer parking for big rigs and rvs
Location was great - on the main strip to the golf course - good location for shopping and restaurants. Good location for a stop over on a long drive. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was surprisingly good for a chain buffet. The pool area was pleasant and had nice planters and sunbeds. The hotel is quite new and well decorated. It had everything we needed. The rooms were spacious and very clean
The room was very clean and the king size bed was comfortable with soft pillows. The hotel was quiet and clean. Breakfast was great however it would have been even better if they served bacon to go with the eggs and sausage. Can not fault the hotel at all. Will definitely stay again if ever we are in Augusta again. Big thumbs up.
I like the location, can actually walk to some good restaurants and shops. Easy access for main roads and locations in Augusta. Rooms are big enough, bed soft enough and facility to prepare simple food. Breakfast is simple but effective and the coffee is always warm
This looks like quite a new hotel. Spacious, clean, comfortable room with full refrigerator, microwave, kitchen as well as bathroom sink and dishwasher! Very cushy bed, big bathroom and the staff was friendly, helpful and extremely competent.
We had family in Augusta University Hospital, the people who worked there went out of their way to help us in any way they could which made a very stressful time much easier to handle. Love the security they provide thru out the hotel!
Augusta
Very quirky room, much better than being in a hotel chain bland room. The access to the bar was also a real bonus. The room and the sitting area were very good and spacious.
Great, comfy and super clean Room. All employees were sweet and helpful. Breakfast great !!! I’m really picky when I select hotels… but this one is one of the best!!
Nothing, it was the worst hotel I ever stayed in, they need to renovate this hotel and get better staff at the front desk.
The hotel appeared to be clean overall. The location was very close to the freeway and easy to get to downtown.
Staff is very friendly and pleasant, very welcoming, overall this is the best hotel we've ever stayed in.
