Located on Bainbridge Island, this inn is a 35-minute ferry ride away from Seattle, Washington. Quality Inn & Suites serves a daily continental breakfast and features rooms with free Wi-Fi. Breakfast was good. Covid 19 meant bagged to go, but we were still offered choices.
Set in Winslow, 1.9 mi from Manitou Beach, The Eagle Harbor Inn offers accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. The hotel features family rooms. Location is great, near marina, good cafes and restaurants. 2 blocks to charming town full of choices including best grocery store ever. Great place to go get food and eat at pretty patio or in room. View from room was marginal and peek a boo at best. Bed very comfortable.
My visit to Bainbridge Island is all about family. The summer weather was picture perfect and our trip to Pleasant Beach Village was lovely. The ferry ride from seattle to bainbridge is very relaxing if you have been traveling all day. Walking distance from the ferry to the touristy part of Bainbridge is short. Winslow Way has many shops and restaurants. Being on Bainbridge, with a car, can be a starting off point to visit other towns such as Silverdale and Poulsbo. The drive over the Agate Passage bridge is breathtaking.
Interesting shops (Bargain Boutique Thrift Store), nice hotel (Marshal Suites) and lots of trees everywhere. Good eats, too (Hitchcock Cafe, Blackbird Bakery). It was a quick overnight stay to hear some friends read poetry at Eagle Harbor Books, lots of fun and conviviality on Winslow Way. Bainbridge Island Museum of Art is excellent, too.
Adore BIMI—world class installations! Fab/fun Winslow—great walkabout—convenient, attractive and friendly. Exceptional food @ Bainbridge Thai restaurant. Ferry rides always scenic fun as is touring the Island. A must go-to venue!
Attractive small town. Nice shops, great art museum. If you knit it is home to Churchmouse Yarn and Tea. Also don’t miss Blackbird Bakery. I happened to be there during Farmers Market which was a fun place to wander.
I liked the museums, shops especially the bookshop there are plenty of good restaurants. Lots of interesting places to visit . Bloedels Reserve being top of list. Wonderful woodland walks and a charming house to rest in. The people of Bainbridge were very friendly and helpful. The ferry across was fast and efficient. I,m looking forward to my next visit. I am 78 years and use a stick but I managed to walk arround fairly easily. There are some steep inclines a contoured map would be helpful. If I was younger I would have hired a bicycle. There are children's playgrounds . In fact something for everyone.
We liked the innkeeper very much. But we were too far outside of Bainbridge. We had the owner's permission to vacate after one night. We chose a place that was in walking distance of the town as we did not rent a car.
Check in was courteous, quick. Young woman named Hunter was pleasant, nice.
