This Baltimore hotel is only 10 minutes' drive from the center of downtown. The hotel offers a gym, large business center and on-site dining. Rooms are equipped with microwaves and refrigerators.

It was adequate. People were very nice. Vending machines were stocked. Restaurant on premises was a big perk, food was great, prices average. Bed was comfortable. Cheaper than other Baltimore hotels, but you usually get what you pay for. I liked having my car right there in a lot.

The location was wonderful! But just one thing I noticed. I’d like you to clean the room everyday because the price is the same of the first day which means the room was clean, amenities are full, and clean towels. If your clean policy is to clean every several days, the price should be changed from the second day.

FAQs about hotels in Baltimore

Historic & Vibrant Harbor Town

Energetic and complex, Baltimore belongs to the select group of historic cities along the east coast of the United States. Located between Washington D.C. and Philadelphia, it’s the birthplace of the National Anthem. It has a lively nightlife, picturesque neighbourhoods, and modern entertainment areas. Its large number of African American population had an important role during the days of the Civil Rights movements.

Founded in 1729, its strategic location in an arm of the Chesapeake Bay rapidly transformed it into an important trading port. The historical site of Fort McHenry is well known for its role during the War of 1812 with the British Empire.

The city has numerous neighbourhoods that still maintain a quaint atmosphere. Fells Point is famous for its 18th and 19th-century architecture, cobbled streets, typical pubs, and plenty of restaurants. Some of the best inns and hotels in Baltimore are located here, while a more local feeling and great accommodation can also be found in Federal Hill and Midtown.

The Inner Harbor is a lively area where tourists can find modern venues and live concerts. Most Baltimore hotels are located in the Harbor, while the business district has also a wide variety of accommodation.

Baltimore is an interesting city near Washington and has a wonderful Inner Harbor area were you can take a walk or a jogging trip. From Wednesday to Sunday you can visit the top of the World Trade Center and have beautiful view and read about this city’s history. The akvarium is amazing and a good place also to visit with children. We were positively surprised about Baltimore. But in the evenings it is not recommended to walk in the city but to take a taxi or have a car.

Several people warned me against going to Baltimore as it was a ‘rough city, so I did remove all jewellery before walking around and it has its fair share of homelessness, like any American city these days. However, I spent a very lovely 3 days in the city centre as a single female and really liked the city. Inner Harbor is a lovely development and the city has lots of history in Fells Point, Mount Vernon and Fort McHendry. It was also really easy to get around as the Charm Circulator buses are free (I found a good App to monitor where each bus was) and the Harbor Connector ferries are free Mon to Fri.

I had never been to Baltimore and in my mind it was somewhat negative. But I was pleasantly surprised! Much of downtown feels like "urban renewal" from the 1970's, old historic buildings have been scraped and replaced by Brutalist high rises. The historic neighborhoods themselves, like Fell's Point and Mount Vernon are way more interesting than downtown. The inner-harbor, which is a 40 year old redevelopment is not a happening place, despite the tall ships (well, actually only 1 ship). Great public transportation including the free busses that take you around downtown and to the historic neighborhoods. We only had a half day there and could have easily stayed another day.

Baltimore is a wonderful city with lots to do and explore! Particularly love the Fells Point area, the Harbor, and Camden Yards and the surrounding area. There are lots of great restaurants and bars everywhere. It's easy to navigate to just about anywhere, whether you're walking, taking an Uber or using the water taxi. There's lots to do for families and couples.
