The inner harbor and Harbor East are among the most popular attractions in Baltimore. Lots of great places to eat - Fogo de Chao, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, Flemings and Mortons Steakhouse are my favorites there. Little Italy is amazing for the Italian experience. Highly recommend Germano's Piattini, where you can catch dinner and a show a few times a week. Nearby, in Fells Point, you can find a plethora of nightlife and good food - the people are super friendly!! Federal Hill = same as Fell's.. lots to do and see, many great eateries and lots of friendly people. Mt. Vernon is beautiful if you like the brownstone urban feel, and that's where you'll find the Walters Art Museum - a wonderful museum with FREE ADMISSION!! Other museums I recommend are the B&O Railroad Museum and the Museum of Industry. Camden Yards is a charming baseball stadium. Horseshoe Casino is right around the corner. There are tons of panhandlers anywhere you go in the city of Baltimore, so just expect that. You need to be very aware of your surroundings at night, as the sketchy neighborhoods are very close by the decent ones, and they all kind of meld together after dark.
We really enjoyed the Inner Harbor. But make sure to visit the visitors center first. We didn't and spent a bit of time figuring out our day plan. The water taxie were great. Example of our day. The National Aquarium, water taxie to Fells Point for lunch and a stroll. Water taxied back to Inner Harbor did a Bit of shopping. Relaxed by the Aquarium watching the boats. Finished the day at an Irish Pub and a walk back to the hotel .
Baltimore is coming along. In due time things will be better and there will be more positive publicity being presented to the outside world. I lived and breathed Baltimore for ten years. It still "my home away from home" due to family and friends I still keep up with. Baltimore is still my city and if you know how to navigate and not look like a tourist, you will have a good time.
Busy. One ways. Loved Harbor. Great hamburgers and shakes at corner shop across from harbor. Bring lots of money. Expensive gifts and good. Nice to experience once. Aquarium was a delimited for the kids and adults. Glad I had my GPS. Went to see JoJo concert Tour.
Loved the quaint shops in the Inner Harbour. We stayed at Fells Pointe ! So much to see and do! We walked the boardwalk , saw the shops, took in the history! Like anyplace there's construction so you have to have patience with narrow streets. My summary would be come enjoy what we were able to experience and add to your memories!
I had a great time exploring the city, especially the Inner Harbor and Camden Yard! The free bus system was interesting! Make sure you know where you're going and pay attention to when & where you get off. The food on the Inner Harbor is phenomenal, especially Phillips! Be sure to take the evening cruise of the harbor. It's beautiful!

We left bed that the hotel is actually across the St from Camden Yard. It is with in a short walk to Inner Harbor, Babe Ruth’s House, and other attractions.Although expensive, the little cafeteria sold fresh muffins and during the morning. The beds were comfortable and ours over looked the stadium. When we checked in I had a problem, my fault, and Nicole, at the front desk helped me work it out.

The bed and breakfast is absolutely charming. The hospitality was A+++++ Linda, who was the innkeeper, was very friendly, helpful and informative. She emailed us a parking pass ahead of time and gave us good directions for the private lot in the back of the inn. When we reached the inn we got a little history tour of the place - it is so beautiful and charming with gorgeous flowers, a lovely parlor, a library-card room where area where you can curl up on the gigantic chairs to R&R. We stayed in the Letitia-Mae room which has a balcony. Everything was homey and charming and it felt like we were visiting a friend, rather than going to a B&B - so wonderful. GREAT breakfast! And please try her chocolate and mint gluten free cookies - those were a total hit!
