NetherlandsI stayed in one of the recent renovated rooms. Great update to 2025 with modern furniture, bathroom amenities. Great breakfast with fresh hot and cold items. Fast WiFi although getting connected to WiFi is a bit of a struggle. Free parking, next to the Barstow Outlets. No noise from the Interstate 15.

Glamorous Barstow is a weigh station.
Glamorous Barstow is a weigh station. Lots of trucks, places for truck drivers to sleep and not a place where you’d vacation. Great view of the mountains from my room. Way too hot. Great Mexican restaurants but it’s a place people stay on their way to somewhere else.

For a bare bones Hotel, this place was top notch!
For a bare bones Hotel, this place was top notch! This is a stop over for us on a regular long trip to San Diego and we always stay here. We wouldn't stay anywhere else. We look forward to seeing Brenda, the desk clerk, every time we çome through. She's friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable, and has a wonderful sense of humor. We look forward to seeing her every time, and she remembers us too!

This is just a fun, albeit small motel to stay in traveling through Barstow. It was my first stop on the way from California to Tennessee. It was just charming. The staff was very friendly and kind. I could not rate a place cleaner than this one! I will to stay here if I travel east again!

We were just passing through on a road trip.
We were just passing through on a road trip. Barstow had a good variety and availability of hotel rooms for us to choose from that were reasonably priced. It was easy to get around. We had dinner at a Mexican restaurant located in a truck wash, the location of which was unusual, but the food and service were great. We left with a very positive view of Barstow.

You get what you pay for. It was a bit dirty.
You get what you pay for. It was a bit dirty. I'm fairly sure that I got bed bug bites from the mattress. It was hot when we arrived. They did not have the A/C turned on and it took 2 hours to cool down so we could sleep.

The route 66 museum was unfortunately closed.
The route 66 museum was unfortunately closed. The railway museum was open, not that interesting unless you are a train nerd.. The Harvey House building could have been interesting, but not much to see and no guide available. The Calico ghost town was very commercial unfortunately.. The McDonalds was fun in old railroad cars! The murals are cool! It could have been a drive through destination instead of a stop over.

The property was clean, the room was comfortable. The check in and check out was fast and smooth. The location is great and you have a restaurant inside the hotel which is a plus.
