I enjoyed the afternoon and one night I spent in Basalt.

I enjoyed the afternoon and one night I spent in Basalt. Nice small , scenic mountain town with a few eating and drinking establishments and shops. I had a very good dinner at Heathers Savory Pies and Tapas Bar. Very friendly staff and excellent food. The section of Basalt I was in was very easy to get around on foot.

Great little town with many restaurants and easy walking. Interesting historic places with information. Great views of Mt. Sopris in town. Close to Aspen skiing in the winter and area hiking for the summer.

This location was located in the beautiful mountain town of Basalt. Our room (paid more for upgrade) overlooked the stream running at the back. A limited but good breakfast was also offered.
