Great Contemporary design and well thought out room design ( for small square footage). Waitress ( Milagro?) in breakfast area was very upbeat and fruit bowl superb!

Nothing. I was refused a room and they would not honor my reservation even though I had a receipt of my reservation and kept showing the front desk attendant, Enock. It was going on 3 in the morning, middle of nowhere mountains and I was turned away from the hotel even though I had reserved and paid for my room. UNACCEPTABLE!!!! it's a miracle I survived the night ...in my car. Imagine if I didn't have a car! I did not feel safe and had zero help or support from the front desk attendant. Also, I never got reimbursed for the roughly $300 I spent on a room that the attendant refused to give me. Will never go here again.

Breakfast included scrambled eggs, self make waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit. Saturday had bacon, Monday had turkey sausage, other days had meat burritos. The room was great very roomy with the living area and bedroom. It had enough plugs for phone charger and other devices. The kitchenette was very helpful especially the fridge. The Shower as a good size with controls that are workable once you understand where the correct temperature is (move the handle to around 3 o'clock setting). The fancy toilet flushes for you and is not obnoxious. The hotel is right on the main street with restaurants and entertainment and walking distance to Basalt park by the roaring fork river which is a great place to spend time. Walking/biking distance to public transportation and the Rio Grande trail.

The spacious rooms with comfortable beds will help you sleep like a baby. Lively with American and International skiers, we boast a charming venue that allows you the thrill of new experiences.

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel several times over the years. The location is excellent-right downtown within walking distance to restaurants and shopping, and fronting the river. It had been updated since our last stay. Nice bed and bedding, fluffy white bath towels, and the soundproof windows were appreciated. The beauty of this property is its right on the river. Book a ground floor room (we were in building A).Each room has a bistro set out side. There is a lush green lawn area with picnic tables and benches to enjoy the rushing river.

The hotel was fine. I have rated it so law because they charged me a no-show for the first night even though I had modified the reservation - and they refuse to do anything about it.
