Great location for biking the Paul Bunyan Trail. We stayed 2 nights before moving on up the trail. Rooms were a good size (we stored our bike in our room overnight with space to spare). Breakfast was decent (incl. a pancake machine !!). Beds were super comfortable.

Location, specious room. Like the room a lot overall, except for squeaky bunk beds. No carpet 👍

Staff was friendly and good service.

Staff was friendly and good service. It is a great location. It is a fine motel for a short stay. I wished that there were more hot options or fruit for the waffles at breakfast. I would go back again, nothing fancy, but gets the job done.

Not much to like.

Not much to like. Not many sit in restaurants, almost all fast food or delivery. No entertainment or recreational activities, lakes and rivers are terribly polluted, over crowded. People are rude and look like they escaped a psychedelic water color painting. Health is not a concern here in brainerd baxter.

We visited a few thrift stores, Mills Fleet Farm, Harbor Freight, and Costco😉, but spent the majority of our time at Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham enjoying the time with our family 🤗‼️ We did go to a chinese buffet for one of our dinners, but were quite disappointed😏. Next time we will try the 371 Diner; we heard that is a great family restaurant☺️🥰‼️

Baxter was fine, motel was fine..booking sucked! We ask for 2 rooms ,close together ,we received 1 room. Not nearly big enough for 4 adults and 2 children. This was the fault of Booking.com not the motel
