I was in town for a Minnesota Wild game and I was looking for a place to stay for the night and this hotel completely exceeded my expectations!! It had an excellent view of the Mississippi River and downtown St Paul!!The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful, the room was super clean and comfortable. The next time I decide to stay the night in downtown St Paul after a Minnesota Wild game this will be my go to every time, highly recommended to everyone!!

The hotel is neat and beautiful. It’s in the center of all the cool things you can do or see in Minnesota. The staff is kind and were always ready to help in someway and answer your questions. Plus, free breakfast in the morning! Despite the bathroom being a bit of an issue because of safety (water would travel into the rest of the room from the shower) it was a pleasant stay and the bed was so soft! Definitely would stay here again my next visit.

At check-in, they moved us from an upper level room to one on the ground floor. This was good because they did not have an elevator. Also, we were across from the dining room which made getting breakfast easy. The room was okay but like most rooms, they do not have enough lighting. Breakfast was minimal but sufficient for our needs. This hotel is close to the beginning of the scenic drive through eastern Minnesota which was very handy.

In a few words, the whole place was very Minnesota, which I loved. The lobby and the hotel had great character and the decorating was very unique. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was clean and everything I'd expect at a hotel. Hotel staff was super friendly and helpful. Location proximity to entertainment and bars was great too. Would absolutely stay here again!

I loved the location of the hotel and ease to get to Mayo Clinic. I came into town with my wife for checkups at Mayo Clinic. We wanted a hotel connected by the skyway and/or subway so we wouldn't have to go outside during Minnesota January days. This location allowed me to use the skywalk with ease to get to and from my appointments.

The staff, the lobby, the rooms. The best part was the staff guy was super nice. I have been in many hotels in Minnesota and this one is by far the best one. The lobby was the perfect late night hang out. The fact that they provide fruits and beverages all day long makes this place exceptional. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Having a shuttle to Mayo Clinic so that we didn’t have to drive and park was a great service. The value of the room and this service made the stay worthwhile, even though I already live in Minnesota. Being closer to Mayo Clinic (within about 2 miles) was very important to us!

Very modern; The building was remodeled in the interior and looked great! Perfect location to many walkable locations in the downtown area. Parking was available behind the building and surrounding area. Highly recommend. We consider this to be our Minnesota apartment! Absolutely loved it.

My husband and I stayed at the St. James Hotel for our 30th wedding anniversary and this year for our 40th anniversary! It is still wonderful, even though some of the restaurants have changed over the years. We enjoy returning here for special occasions to Redwing, Minnesota.

The Hotel,Staff and Accommodations were excellent. I thought the price was slightly over priced. However it's summer time in Minnesota and high tourist season . Like I commented slightly over priced. There would be no question I would come back to this hotel.

The only saving grace was its proximity to the University of Minnesota, but that's not nearly enough to justify enduring this hellhole. The breakfast was included in my stay. However it was not vegetarian friendly at all.

I appreciated the clean rooms and facility. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy to get too. Convenient to the greater Rochester, Minnesota and surrounding area. Economical too. I appreciated that it was pet friendly.

Breakfast was okay for a Rochester Minnesota hotel. Security system for elevators (must use key card) was VERY reassuring. STAFF was pleasant from the desk folks to the cleaning and breakfast prep people.

I loved the "up north Minnesota" design of the whole hotel. Some design elements really made me chuckle! Clean and homey. The room is exactly like what is in the pictures.

Since this Hotel has opened I have stayed at it each year on my way to Northern Minnesota. It is a prime location for me and my needs and close to shopping for my teenagers.

We attended the Minnesota Fringe Festival, and the hotel was ideally located close to the venues. We also appreciated the fitness center and the pool.

Great hotel on the University of Minnesota campus. Nice large room! Walking distance to the light rail and convenient to downtown!

Nice hotel with exceptional view from balcony. Room was clean. Location is good to explore Minnesota part of Lake Superior shore.

When we come to Minnesota this is the only place I will stay it is so clean and comfortable no loud noise just perfect

I liked how close the hotel was to the Mall of America and the Minnesota zoo. That's about it.
