FranceWe arrived a la little bit early and the host kindly gave us an earlier check-in. We loved using the hot tub and pool. Host allowed us to leave our bag with computers and personal items at the hotel (after we checked-out) as we were skiing in Mt Bachelor that day. Overall great experience.

IrelandAbsolutely superb! We had a fantastic stay. Our room was on the second floor, overlooked the river and had a balcony. Facilities were great (2 pools, indoor and outdoor, leisure centre, place to do laundry as we’ve been in a long road trip, fantastic restaurant, etc.) Staff was great - every single one of them. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

It is a gorgeous place!
It is a gorgeous place! So much to see and do surrounding the urban area. Traffic can be a mess, especially in downtown where the streets are narrow with parking on both sides. Just try to avoid those and it is fine. Good food and friendly folks. Malls and great shopping as well.
Don't miss Sun River Resort just outside of Bend and beautiful (country, rodeo/western style) Sisters on Hwy 20 West of Bend! There is an amazing quilt shop in Sisters.

Way too many people crammed into small areas with no parking...
Way too many people crammed into small areas with no parking and very long traffic jams. A blind person could do a better job than the city does with their roads and traffic department! And watch out for stupid people who don't know how to use a crosswalk and just walk out into the road thinking everyone will stop for them.

The river going through Bend was amazing.
The river going through Bend was amazing. You have to go tubing. While we were tubing, we passed the outdoor amphitheater and listened to live music. Once we were finished tubing, we sat outdoors at a great Italian restaurant listening to the music. The shops and walking paths were clean and there was absolutely no garbage anywhere. The vegetation and surroundings were absolutely beautiful. The surrounding things to do around Bend is a must see. Such as the caves, Smith Mountain, Lavender Farm, etc.

I enjoyed tubing down the river with the help of Tumalo...
I enjoyed tubing down the river with the help of Tumalo Creek and I loved my hike up to Tumalo Falls. The employees and concert goers I met at the Hayden Homes Amphitheater during the Sarah McLachlan concert made my solo trip fantastic.

There are so many places in Bend to eat and to have fun it...
There are so many places in Bend to eat and to have fun it is one of my most favorite places to go. When I get to vacation I pick Bend because there is always something to do there. There is always a place to see that is gorgeous. The people of Bend seem to be friendly and kind. Getting around Bend was not easy as they are doing construction but with GPS you will get to were you are going eventually. The shopping!! Victoria Secret, Kohls, Ross, Pendleton Store....OH MY!!! It is the best for shopping. There are so many stores. Also the Black Bear Dinner YUM!!! and all the food carts!

Great town for outdoors activities, year round.
Great town for outdoors activities, year round. Also has great restaurants, and an arts scene, and music in the bars, some not listed in the weekly paper even. Also some classical music on certain weekends. Hike/walk the Deschutes River Trail, and Chevlin Park, for places closer to town.

Modern, stylish clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Our room was comfortable and well equipped. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Great location, only a short walk from downtown Bend. The complimentary breakfast was excellent offering hot and continental alternatives. And Happy Hour, with complimentary wine, beer and nibbles was a fine way to start the evening. Highly recommended!

Nice, spacious room. Clean. Comfortable bed. The location in central Bend was perfect for us. The staff was exceptionally cheerful and friendly and helpful. The room was pricey (though we did stay over a busy Memorial Day weekend, and every hotel we looked at that had vacancy, was on the expensive side). All in all, a very nice property and a comfortable spot to “hang our hats”.

excellent and comfortable room, dog friendly, great amenities. Definitely more of a party scene at the hotel, but if you are prepared for this aspect (they are very clear with quiet hours) it is really fun and makes for a very social vacation.
