Nestled in the quaint town of Bethel, this B&B is just 7 mi from Sunday River Ski Resort. John and Janet, the B&B owners haven been extremely attentive with us. They contacted us the previous days asking for food allergies. The day we got there, we had all the food specs we asked for. They helped us to make the dinner reservation, and were very detailed with all the house facilities and amenities. They offer guests a fridge, parking lot, liquors, blue rays and several table games. Rooms are cozy, clean and vintage. Definitely we will repeat the stay!!
Offering free WiFi and barbecue facilities, River View Resort offers accommodations in Bethel, 1.9 miles from Colonel Dyke Airfield and 2 miles from Col Dyke Field. A hot tub is available for guests. Great staff, very spacious, clean and nice apartments, cannot recommend enough!
Open for all four seasons, this Bethel motel can accommodate hikers, skiers and anyone looking to enjoy the beautiful Western Maine mountains. Sunday River is a quick 5 miles from the property. Really like the room, was big and cozy (and clean!) :) Loved that there was a wall mounted table. There were extra blankets and pillows in case one needs them. Friendly and nice staff, attention to covid, nice location. Would totally reccomended.
Beautiful village in Western Maine. Amazing Autumn colours. Excellent eateries. We ate at Sud's Pub. Great live music and excellent food. Holidae House B&B was brilliant. Fabulous gem and mineral museum. Friendly people.
Used to live near Bethel but live in the southern part of the state now. Going to Bethel to see the Maine Mineral and Gem Museum is a MUST! Incredible museum within wonderful exhibits and staff. Also only place I have ever seen a meteorite exhibit and held rock from the moon and Mars in my hands!!!
Bethel is a cute little town that seems to have plenty of goods and services available if you are traveling. Unfortunately, I arrived late on a Sunday afternoon and left on Monday, so many restaurants were closed already.
Attempted to check in and the office was close. Had to go to another motel. Contacted the owner after I returned home and was tolf she would refund my fee. She did not. Contacted her again a week later and she told me she had thought about it and would only refund half my cost. I agreed but she did not refund that either. I do not recommend this motel to anyone.
Enjoyed dinner in the restaurant in the hotel. The room is spacious, clean, well appointed and comfortable. The bathroom is large, clean, modern and is well lit, which is a rarity in hotel rooms. We also appreciate the heat in the bathroom - cold bathrooms are so awful. Bonus - Keurig coffee maker in the room!
Quiet, beautiful, delightful tho limited shopping and warm attitude by everyone. Excellent restaurants and ambience. One of the most beautiful small towns in Maine has something for everyone - except handy coffee-on-the-go! Exquisite 100 yr old hotel, golf course surrounded by lovely hills & mountains. Closes up early!
Excellent accommodations, the bed we slept on was one of the most comfortable I’ve had at any B&B or hotel. The breakfasts provided were fantastic and the perfect way to start the day. The decor of the B&B was so well done, it’s obvious how much time, effort, and care is put into it. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone going for a ski trip as it really tied the experience together.
Rostay is conveniently located in between town of Bethel and road to Sunday River. Available breakfast for $8 is a great convenience. Staff and owners are very personable and accommodating. Rooms are clean and have tv's and refrigerators and microwaves. Great value for the money overall.
Working are way back home stayed here for one night. Apartment was very spacious reasonable priced. Hotel has Pool, hot tub and sauna. Would stay again.
Very hiker friendly. The common areas were amazing. One of the best hotel stays on the entire Appalachian Trail.
