I chose this hotel because of it's proximity to the Metro train next door. Super convenient for going into DC, which was my main goal. Clean and luxurious accommodations with friendly check-in staff. The commissary items were expensive but the parking was only $14 for two nights, which was extraordinarily cheap. Restaurant was expensive and had limited hours with no seating, only room service. Starbucks was in the lobby, which was nice. The sidewalks were all torn up and under construction so it was like walking through a construction zone to get to the front entrance, but not the hotel's fault. The parking garage was cheap and okay but difficult to access from the hotel. I had to use DoorDash to get food at the end of the day. A minibar would have been far more convenient in the room and with lower prices, especially since the food and bar options were so limited. The room was fabulous, soft down comforter, nice walk-in shower, big screen TV, Wifi worked perfectly and was free, no complaints there.
The entire staff was very courteous and helpful. Very impressive. The steak house In the hotel was only doing take out, but was prepared perfectly for take out. The food was off the chain! If I’m ever in that area again, I would definitely stay there.
Close to DC, came here for a one night getaway on a weekend and it was great. We had dinner at Jaleo, the Jose Andres tapas restaurant, and it was phenomenal. The Woodmont Deli next to our hotel was excellent for breakfast as well and was very charming and delicious. Very happy that Bethesda is metro accessible, it's a nice place with some great food and nice people!
Cute town with all of the amenities to give a person a well rounded stay. There are several gyms in a square radius. Many restaurants of all types, literally door to door for several blocks. Everything is easy to walk to or call a quick Lyft or Uber ride. The Metro is close by as well. Definitely try Guapo's for mexican. This place is quaint and service is incredible. The food is so delicious I went back two days in a row. You cannot go wrong with any drinks there but be sure to have a Margarita if that is your thing!!!
I was in a local pub when the Nationals won. The locals were so excited and their enthusiasm was contagious as they were also very warm to whomever was around to celebrate with them. Plus it was plenty close to visit DC by subway. You have to try the crab out this way, it's bomb-off the best. The fall leaves and beauty of the surrounding area was awesome and I definitely will be coming back.
Georgetown is near about maybe 20 to 30 minutes...I would recommend an Uber to Georgetown its best to google the area, and see where you want to go. Movies, Bowling, Shopping, Restaurants, Water, its beautiful. Or visit Mazza Gallery, like 10 minutes away which the have the same-things Georgetown except water and water activities.
