The "contact less check-in" was awesome. I was given the door code right before check in; which was very convenient. The rooms were clean and newly renovated. Very nice all around. The location was perfect, across the street was an awesome bbq spot as well as a great breakfast place on the same block! Will definitely stay here again next time we're in Idaho Springs.

A beautiful area for gambling, spending time with friends,...

A beautiful area for gambling, spending time with friends, and close to Central City for sightseeing, with a very walkable location. If you go early in the week, such as Monday and Tuesday, you might find many restaurants closed on those days. It was enjoyable to explore the various casinos and take in the different restaurants, coffee shops, and all-night options. There aren't many convenience store options, so bring essentials with you from the start (bottled water, in-room snacks, etc.).

We love the location and beauty of Black Hawk.

We love the location and beauty of Black Hawk. We had not been there in 20 years and although it has changed over the years it's still the small quaint area we remember. We wished there were more breakfast options as none of the restaurants open until 10:00 a.m. on the main strip & if you do find a "snack bar" type place they do not serve full breakfast they only serve a couple options such as a breakfast burrito or english muffin breakfast sandwich.

Get out of the heat and rushing about your daily life. Gambling is comparable to other casinos; plenty of slots to tables to choose. At least this time of year, August, weekends are when you would want to go if you are interested in buffets and finer restaurants

We were charged twice for the booking for the room on Visa...

We were charged twice for the booking for the room on Visa and paid $30 extra for early check-in which was added to the original charge of $221.66 for the room paid with Apple Pay both cards were charged. Called the casino was transferred to a guest satisfaction person who after explaining transferred me to front desk, explained the duplicate charges and she said the double charge was the price which was of course wrong so after long holds was told the manager would call that day of course there was no call. Have disputed the original booking reservation with the bank. We did have a wonderful dinner at Fireside Restaurant and a great waiter who shaves his head (like me). The room was fine no problem. I was in a wheelchair at times and the only way down to the second level is one elevator that security has to unlock so it will go down which caused long waits and feelings of discrimination because of the handicap.

We didn't win and we didn't see anyone else winning. We tried several different casinos and several different slot denominations. We have been going for years and usually come back at least even if not up substantially. Not this time. Love the town but really bad to gamble in right now.

It's a great place, we stayed the first time to get an idea...

It's a great place, we stayed the first time to get an idea of what we wanted to see around the place, mainly if we come back for the snow, which would be ok, but far from the slopes. But the hotel was great and so were the staff with ample eating places in the hotel and outside as well.

We were presently surprised how nice the hotel was and how comfortable the bed was. The room was clean and a really nice size. There was several different foods options to choose from and the casino was really close.
