There are lots of things to do and see in the Bluff area. Don't miss the Sand Island petroglyphs! Bluff is also close by to Blanding and its excellent museum collection of Anasazi artifacts (state park), and not too far from Hovenweep ruins (don't miss this if you have the time).

We didn’t have much time but we enjoyed visiting the Bluff...

We didn’t have much time but we enjoyed visiting the Bluff Fort, a must visit if you are in time and interested in its history I would also recommend Comb Ridge eat and drink outdoor restaurant, great food and service.

Desert Rose has the best and ONLY decent restaurant in the '...

Desert Rose has the best and ONLY decent restaurant in the 'one-horse' town of Bluff. It was closed on the Saturday and Sunday of our visit - and, indeed, EVERY Saturday and Sunday!!!!!!! Avoid this 'town' if you can.

The Bluff Fort museum looked interesting but it was too hot...

The Bluff Fort museum looked interesting but it was too hot to walk around. In mid-July, there were very few options for dining, which became a bit of a challenge for my diabetic husband. The pizza from the gas station convenience store kept us fed after a long day at Monument Valley. Utah forces you to be self-reliant in every way, although the gas prices in town were better than in Moab.

We loved our hotel and the small village there.

We loved our hotel and the small village there. We loved the history and all there was to see. There were only 2 restaurants suggested for us. One opened at 5 pm. It was the higher recommended; however, they would not sit us or allow us in early so we went to the one which opened at 4:30. We were NOT disappointed. The other one needs to learn people skills. I wish I could remember the names and be more specific.

Bluff is a good location for visiting Canyonlands or Valley...

Bluff is a good location for visiting Canyonlands or Valley of the Gods. We were there in the middle of January (totally off-season) and some of the local restaurants were closed for the season or only open on weekends.

Beautiful cottages in a lovely setting. Easy stay with all the facilities of home. Andi was a great host, providing upfront and excellent recommendations. The situation is great and some vistas of the Bluff townscape feel like a cartoon, it is that pretty with contrasting conditions that make for great dramatic photography. Lovely dark skies for astrophotographers too!

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Check in and out was quick and easy. The hotel breakfast was excellent. The location was great. The room was really beautiful, clean and comfortable with a little chair and porch to enjoy the sunset. The restaurant next door was really lovely. I was disappointed I wasn't staying longer to fully enjoy the hotel and pool!

There was a little balcony at the back which was great and the room was spacious. An ice maker in the room along with a freshly cooked breakfast was fantastic. This place is charming and filled with little details but it is not a five star resort. That is not a knock about this place, just that it feels more like a home rather than a hotel. We love it.

What a great place to stay. Very well equiped chalets with everything you need and all modern mod-cons. A perfect place to enjoy a drink at the of a day sightseeing with the sun setting on the bluffs just over the road. This property is opposite Bluff’s historic fort which is well worth a visit.

Location was perfect for our road trip from Denver to LA. We wanted to visit Moab and this place was the perfect to rest. Overall hotel aesthetic was top notch. Great room with coffee and microoven. Breakfast at the inhouse cafe was delicious.
