We were there to see the school. It was great. Surrounding area nice, interesting non-chain options for dining, which we appreciated. Weird that a main street runs right through the middle of campus, but enjoyed and would like to go back to Boone. It snowed on 5 April!

We've been to this area a couple of times over the years, and tend to go back as we really like the area. It is close to an entrance for the Blue Ridge Parkway, with an overlook just a few minutes down the road. The restaurants are good, but Dan'l Boone Inn is an absolute must every time we are in the area. There are plenty of small hiking trails, and waterfalls, to see.

The hotel was clean and very nice. Good parking and quiet. The front desk employees were friendly and helpful. They were knowledgeable about Boone and gave good suggestions for dinner. Really enjoyed the stay.
The hotel is beautiful and blends well with the lovely mountain setting. The room was roomy and comfortable. The beds are comfortable. There is a little market where you can get snacks and drinks and OTC meds.
I was traveled for skiing and the hotel location was right. My room was on the first floor, quiet, nothing bothered me.
I liked waffles for breakfast, coffee and some tea in the room.
Well the hotel was overbooked and i was stranded to find another accommodation at late night.
I don't blame the hotel for this..this is a booking.com issue.
