Featuring free WiFi, a seasonal outdoor pool and a barbecue, Shady Acer Motel offers accommodations in Branson West. Free private parking is available on site. It was a small hotel. Quiet setting. Small pool but the kids had fun. Every day we got a text to see if everything was okay and if we needed anything. It a mom and pop kind of place! Very friendly
Mountain Country Motor Inn is located in Branson West and features a shared lounge. There is a seasonal outdoor pool and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Loavation was ideal-10inutes to the boat ramp. Parking lot was boat trailer friendly.
Located in Branson West, West Branson Condo 2 Miles to Silver Dollar City! features accommodations with a patio and free WiFi. Everything was amazing! The condo was welcoming and extremely clean! Way better option then a hotel. The community was relaxing and the back patio was nice to destress after being out all day.
Branson landing was overhyped, parking was inadequate, museums very expensive, but on the other hand, I didn't have but one day to explore. Even though traffic was massive, they somehow manage to keep it flowing, noticeably. The locals were mostly friendly. Good coffee is HARD to locate. There is a massive aquarium coming in 2020 that seems like would be worth another trip there. I wished that would have been open. Like I mentioned, I didn't have much time to check it all out, but I would recommend planning your trip's to do list ahead of time, and research pricing, ratings, locations, times, and operating dates and hours. My favorite thing was the Talking Rocks cavern just outside the city, but I'm old and traveled alone.
We weren't impressed with Branson in general. We are a retired couple and we had a nice time, visited some tourist sites, people were very friendly, but the area is geared more for families. Our preferences are more for mountains and nature trails. Sites we were happy to have visited were: Branson Belle Showboat (outstanding show, good food, reasonably priced for dinner show); Top of the Rock golf cart tour/Arnie's Barn (beautiful area/views); Fantastic Caverns in Springfield was great and far better than Talking Caverns.
There are good places to shop for basics, walmart and Dollar general, several places to eat and numerous motels. We like that it is close to Silver Dollar City. We are season pass holders and this was our second stay this year in Branson West.
We stay in the Branson West area because we are visiting our kids. Branson West reduces our travel time and the area has all the convenient stores needed, as well as being near the lake and many attractions.
We love Branson West! We stayed there a couple years ago and haven't stayed in the main part of Branson again. The traffic is almost non-existent and getting in and out of Silver Dollar City takes no time at all. We love that there is a Walmart right in town as well as a Walgreens and quite a few restaurants. Not sitting in the car for hours is so nice- especially with little kids.
