Good local spot for locals; small area but not walkable in winter and extremely limited/no food options for travelers year round. Hot tubs/pools at both old lodges can be sketchy. Steep stairs at ski area to access restrooms. Several very old slow chair lifts to access more challenging terrain. Commonly much higher winds than weather.com reports.

We were disappointed that the snow tubing was closed for the season in Dec. due to not enough snow. (They make it for the skiing and snowboarding so I don’t understand why they don’t accommodate tubing as well). We were disappointed that we couldn’t rent snow mobiles as they were all already rented when we arrived. The restaurant closest to us - ski lodge cafe - left a lot to be desired as did the pizzeria. Lots of room for improvement. The ice skating rink was really small, overcrowded and overpriced, so we didn’t do it.

I would not go there again.
I would not go there again. I left early due to construction, non caring staff and the lack of ada services. I want a refund but also we know that booking.com is a rip-off when it comes to refunds after you find that what you thought was wrong and need to leave a resort.

Brian Head is a mid-size ski resort in south-central Utah.
Brian Head is a mid-size ski resort in south-central Utah. Only eight chair lifts, but the small size and relatively remote location help keep the crowd size down. Good, challenging runs, although no NASTAR course. Just beware of using Booking.com for accommodations as the ol' 'bait and switch' is used. Fortunately for us, it wasn't a major factor because it was just two people.

Loved the ski area. Wonderful blue runs.
Loved the ski area. Wonderful blue runs. New high speed lifts at Navajo. However, hope the other side of the mountain will get some replacement lifts soon. They are quite old. And would like to see all of them have safety bars. Not all chairlifts have them. Great variety of restaurants. (Wish Purgatory had more variety. Same owners) And lots of accommodations to choose from. Beautiful views. And other activities available such as snowmobiling, hiking etc. There is a shuttle so it's easy to choose where you start your ski day.

We stayed at the Cedar Breaks Lodge.
We stayed at the Cedar Breaks Lodge. It is right next to the Navajo Ski Lodge of the Brian Head Resort. It is the perfect distance to get to skiing and snowboarding without even having to move your car out of its parking spot. The condos are perfect for relaxing and enjoying the gorgeous views after a long, fun day on the mountain. The Brian Head Ski Resort is always organized and the staff is very helpful and friendly.
Toni and Cindy gave us a warm, friendly greeting. We were given a map to help plan our hikes. Our bed was comfortable, and our view of the golden-leafed trees was lovely. Every night, we borrowed a DVD to watch, which was a treat. There are lots of great hikes in Brian Head, and this resort is well-located with a large pool and hot tub. There's a decent fitness room too.
the location is great and the nature around it really stunning! its an authentic and nice vacation hotel! some parts could use a fix-up, and it could be cleaner, but the staff is nice and the area great!
The building itself is impressive and a nice change from the typical cheaply-constructed hotels. It's a nice lodge-feel in a great location. Front desk employee was pleasant.
