We loved everything about this hotel – from the modern design and stylish decor to the cleanliness, which was always impeccable and beyond expectations. The staff was incredibly accommodating, the location was quiet and safe, and everything we needed was just a short walk away, including a delightful bakery. The bed and mattress were exceptionally comfortable, and despite the size of the room, the space was organized perfectly. A small bonus: the complimentary tea and coffee every morning was fantastic, and we enjoyed having breakfast there. We are delighted!

FAQs about hotels in Brooklyn

The Giant of New York

Immortalised in popular music, culturally diverse Brooklyn has achieved almost legendary status. On the western end of Long Island, across the East River from Manhattan, this huge NYC borough is so densely populated that if it were a city, it would rank as the 4th largest in the US!

The borough is joined to Manhattan by 3 bridges: Williamsburg, Manhattan and the iconic Brooklyn Bridge. It is also linked to Staten Island by the lengthy Verrazano Narrows Bridge. Ocean-going liners pass under here before docking at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal in Red Hook. To the north-east, Brooklyn Bridge Park offers some of the best views of the Manhattan skyline, while south-east is the huge Prospect Park.

On one edge is Brooklyn Museum, the country’s 2nd largest art gallery, and just behind is the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens whose cherry trees bloom a vibrant pink. To the east are some hotels near JFK Airport, and there are more in neighbouring Queens.

At Brooklyn’s southernmost tip, Coney Island’s historic boardwalk has appeared in several films. Regeneration is underway to bring it back to its former glory, and the revamped Luna features a historic wooden rollercoaster. Also historic is the northern Greenpoint district with its elegant 19th-century houses.

Cheap Brooklyn hotels offer a good alternative to accommodation in Manhattan, so check Booking.com for the best deals.

Dear Hotel Team,

Dear Hotel Team, I am following up about my wife’s new sleepwear set (matching top and pants), which went missing from our room on Sunday morning or afternoon. She wore it only once, on Saturday night. We searched the room, bathroom, and laundry area, but we could not find it. A hotel staff member also came and searched under the bed, but unfortunately it was not found. We are wondering if the cleaner who cleaned our room on Sunday may have seen the sleepwear or knows where it was placed. Could you please check with the cleaner and ask if they remember seeing or moving it? We would really appreciate your help in finding it, as it is brand new and my wife had only worn it once. Thank you very much for your assistance. Kind regards,

Gone are the days when Brooklyn was intimidating.

Gone are the days when Brooklyn was intimidating. The only thing you have to worry about in Brooklyn is running out of money and the occasional Karen. People are friendly in NY! I couldn't believe it! Of course, culture off the hook - jazz clubs, restaurants, museums, local shops.

Favorite Spots were Soul Food corner dinner spot and The Door, Jamaican Restaurant. Where Did we eat, Soul Food corner dinner spot and The Door, Jamaican Restaurant. Is getting around Brooklyn easy? Easy, yes, but still very congested and crowded. What would we avoid next time? We would avoid not having a guide to take us to more places to visit, tour and enjoy.

Probably the best balance of accessibility and cost in NYC.

Probably the best balance of accessibility and cost in NYC. Within easy reach of Manhattan and JFK airport but the hotels are not that costly plus it is really easy to get around thanks to the subway. Also this is a safe borough and getting around at odd hours is not an issue at all. Highly recommended for an affordable (but not budget) stay.

The Pod Brooklyn is in a great area with fabulous independent shops, cafes and restaurants! Small is beautiful with The Pod and the beds are so comfortable- loved it and will be back! The hotel is near the North Williamsburg ferry which has incredible views across the East River of Manhattan and is an excellent, cheap and reliable way to travel. The staff are helpful and friendly with a great buzz around the hotel!

The accommodation met my expectations. Pleasant hotel, friendly staff, cleanliness. We felt very comfortable there. Excellent location of the hotel right next to the park. Nearby were metro stops, a department store, a gastro market, groceries, fast food. Not far from the Brooklyn Bridge.

Amazing king size bed and the biggest TV I've ever seen. Staff was very nice. Location 30 min away from Brooklyn bridge and about 40 from midtown Manhattan - in NYC that's the best you can get without having Jeff Bezos money.

It's quite a hip place. Doesn't feel like a large hotel even though it has a lot of rooms. Rooms were ok. Location is very good for Brooklyn, Manhatten and Long Island.
