Bryce Canyon is a unique National Park definitely worth visiting. It was super hot when we were there in June and we very much enjoyed seeing the canyon by horseback! It's easy to see in a day. If you are there overnight, definitely take the opportunity to drive into the park after dark to see the stars and Milky way. It's amazing!
I arrived after dark but there was no illuminated sign outside the hotel to identify it. The only sign I saw said "Wilson's Peak" Don't know if they don't have a sign or if they had it turned off. I went into the lobby anyway. No one was working in the lobby but they had my key in an envelope on the desk.
Bryce Canyon is magnificent! You have to see it! The colors, the views, the night sky, the hikes, the biking, all fantastic! Our favorite meal was in Tropic at IDK BBQ. The pizza at the Sunrise Point inside the park was very good. We loved hiking into the Bryce Canyon Amphitheater and we loved viewing the night sky from the parking lot of the Visitors Center. We loved viewing sunset at Sunset Point, especially the view of Escalante Mountain.
This is a beautiful and awe inspiring national park. It is a great place to visit and see the GREAT scenery. Even though there is a shuttle to avoid parking problems, we drove both days and had no problems getting to any scenic areas. Really expected a ton more visitors as Zion had been packed. Bryce seems much more prepared, outside of parking areas, to receive a large volume of visitors. Hiking, biking paths are numerous. Definitely needs more restaurants in the area. We were referred to one 4 star restaurant which was completely booked for our first two nights and closed on a thursday (????), our last night. So we were stuck with the restaurant at the hotel which was a bit boring. Would avoid the BEST WESTERN PLUS Inn ...terrible. Would try to book a better quality restaurant a week ahead of getting there.
Views are incredible. The Fairyland Loop Trail is very possible the BEST HIKE you will ever do (I am an experienced hiker throughout the Western US). There are good walking trails no matter what level you are -- take some trails and see more than just the rim views, if you have time. In the springtime, prepare for all kinds of weather - we had sunny/warm, cold/windy, and wet/snowy weather in a matter of a few hours. Be courteous to others in this highly populated park! Be patient in the parking areas.
We spent three nights at the canyon; all were very good. Many trails to pick for a hike each day. Easy access to the canyon and able to drive to the trail head. shuttle buses were easy access if one wanted to use them. Loved the hoodoos!!
Very close to Bryce Canyon. Very nice rooms and a great restaurant just next to it. I would always come back and can only recommend this place to everyone.

The location was perfect and proximity to the restaurant was an added bonus.
